SOON Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 And Guy needs to realize that many are dumping the sinking Lardy ship and joining Madonna's ship. Reductive at its finest. I have heard a Twitter rumor that Guy or a Madonna team member started the petition.
Guest bluejean Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 It's funny, some of the songs I didn't like that much as demos have turned out to be my absolute faves! Holy Water and S.E.X. for example!
elijah Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Once again... I really love this album. For me every fucking demo was GREATLY and IMMENSELY improved. Its like she manned up the demos. There is common sound to them all, which wasn't there in the demos form. It feels like a whole. It is sophisticated and lush. It is a great upgrade from HC and MDNA and her best since COADF, maybe cause it feels honest without trying hard to be smth she is not. It feels like classic Madonna in the present and it rings true even on the sexual songs. I feel so relieved Aviccii production was slayed. He ruined WAOM. I love the fact she kept the songs. I wont mind her writing with him again, but not producing. Stand outs for now: DP Ghosttown Hold Tight Joan Of Fucking Arc Iconic Holy Water WAOM Best Night VVV RH QUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN Borrowed Time Autotune Baby
Picho Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I don't think is Avicii's fault! Remember she reworked all tracks with new producers
elijah Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 WAOM demo is produced by Avicii, it has his sound all over and it sounds cheap and dated, although its obvious that even buried under dreadful production, WAOM is a very strong song lyrically/musically. Now its perfect.
Michael. Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Let's not forget she started working heavily with Babyface and Rick Nowles before Orbit for ROL. The music evolves, I don't think it's a slight against Avicii. They wrote some good lyrics etc but obviously she was inspired to go in a different direction musically. These things happen.
Nightshade Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Finally broke down and listened to the final "Holy Water". Sweet lord. That's a revamp if ever there was one. Love it.
qube7 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Where can i find the lyrics of Queen? Thanx all!

magodonna Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Where can i find the lyrics of Queen? Thanx all! It will never rain, never rain If the great sky falls down, no rain, no more rain Blood's pouring down, high alert, we watch it burn It's a world undeceived, sirens, sirens Everyone's whispering, the CIA, MI6 Hire the unknown We're at the end of days For heaven's sake The queen's been slain She'll never rule again The queen's been slain She'll never rule again Your queen's been slain Queen's been slain That parade, motorcade Destiny sings farewell, church bells Is anyone listening, everywhere, bowed in prayer Tears are falling, coming down, coming down I hear the heavens calling, providence, no evidence There's no confirmation Only silence remains We only know one thing The queen's been slain She'll never rule again The queen's been slain She'll never rule again Your queen's been slain Queen's been slain Who will take her place? It's written on everyone's face The truth is slowly dawning I hear tomorrow calling Some things can't be replaced The realization of a new generation On the eve of imitation All gone, overthrown The queen's been slain She'll never rule again The queen's been slain She'll never rule again Your queen's been slain Queen's been slain May God bless you all May God bless you all May God bless you all
Guest CJM Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 People answer me these questions plz. Is there lots of strings used on the album? Does MADONNA hum at all? Does she do different styles of singing to what she has done before? Does she talk on the album? Like in Erotica days? Would you describe any songs as EUPHORIC? (Example Get Together)
Mensch Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Mensch can you give me a minute and explain to me why you think it's amazing? I've been charmed by the demo too hard and now I'm blind to the new version of this song. It's like I'm completely numb to it. All I want is that magical piano and guitar back in the chorus... So if you could, I'd appreciate it. P.S. I'm happy with the rest of the songs BUT NEVER AGAIN am I listening to demos!! Idk...at first I was all for the NIN beat and the catchiness of it but this new production is so elevated and fleshed out. It takes the fact that it sounded dates before out of the finished version. It's just worlds apart. I will listen to the demo too but this is serious. The entire album has been polished off with a NO FUCKING AROUND attitude. It's PERFECTION. Inside Out is too good in its finished form to deny. You need to listen to it again a few times.

Mattress Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 People answer me these questions plz. Is there lots of strings used on the album? Does MADONNA hum at all? Does she do different styles of singing to what she has done before? Does she talk on the album? Like in Erotica days? Would you describe any songs as EUPHORIC? (Example Get Together) - Not lots of orchestral moments beyond "Messiah", which is very string heavy. There are a lot synthesized strings throughout though. - Nothing a'la "Secret", "Frozen" or "Nobody's Perfect" in the humming department if that's what you mean. - "Body Shop" is a new pocket for her vocally. She revisits a lot of past singing styles though... things most of us probably thought she couldn't do the way she did in the '80s and '90s! Which brings us to... - GIRL! If you download one song early, get "Best Night". You will flip out. Straight up Dita/JML with a very obvious reference to the latter woven into the bridge. I think you're going to love "Veni Vidi Vici" for this reason, too. - There aren't any outright "Get Together"-ish moments, but I'd file "Iconic" and "Living For Love" under the euphoric umbrella!

Does she do different styles of singing to what she has done before? Does she talk on the album? Like in Erotica days? Would you describe any songs as EUPHORIC? (Example Get Together) Idk about any of this. It's nothing like any of this... It is just so different than anything she's done before but with her essence...you're going to love it. If you've loved her and her reinventions...it's basically just such a new Madonna sound that you have to love it. I'm so blown away. I can't take it.
Stephen Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Which member can catch me while I cry me eyes out? I'm only human...
Mattress Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 Which member can catch me while I cry me eyes out? I'm only human... I would, but I'm busy researching what exactly Joan Of Arc was if not a human being.
Mensch Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I will ^^^^ I'm feeling the love right now!!! #livingforlove 😘😘😘🙏🙏🙏
magodonna Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 It's her end? Her last album? I don't think so...remember Madonna Herself said there's a lot of fiction and non fiction in Her writing (Her experiences with experiences of everyone around Her)...not to mention She's Royalty and has more recently been a big fan of shows like Game of Thrones (a lot of slain kings and Queens), so I can only assume it's a mixture of all the above that inspired this amazing track.
VogueMusic Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I have so many feelings I don't know what the fuck to say. The bar has been raised...AGAIN. Every single artist in the game...let alone the industry itself...is about to get a fucking WAKE UP CALL. I hope every pop bitch shits themselves when they realize what's about to happen...
Guest CJM Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Thank you Mensch and Mattress. So excited! This little bit of information has me so curious and excited the most: - "Body Shop" is a new pocket for her vocally. She revisits a lot of past singing styles though... things most of us probably thought she couldn't do the way she did in the '80s and '90s! Which brings us to... So I can expect minimal crow? 😈
Guest Katypatra Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 This album is NOT her last! She is picking up her crown and putting it back on her head! This is only the beginning! Madonna is going to rock everybody's socks off with new music for years to come!! She will be EVERYWHERE, all over the place. She will make movies and write books along the way. But this is just a beginner to her next legacy of music! Old Testament: 1. Madonna 2. Like a Virgin 3. True Blue 4. Like a Prayer 5. Erotica 6. Bedtime Stories New Testament: 1. Ray of Light 2. Music 3. American Life 4. Confessions On The Dance Floor 5. Hard Candy 6. MDNA Armageddon: 1. Rebel Heart 2. ? 3. ? 4. ? 5. ? 6. ? Do you recognize the number of the beast?
5iVe Elements Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 So with the addition of Scars to the Beautiful family, I'd say Stranger is still the best of them all!
Platinum Gold Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Have you guys heard the error in the vocal at 2:49 of HeartbreakCity ?!
