I am thrilled that he is finally giving this some serious thought. Imagine the undertaking though...M has had 2x the career length she did with the original publication. 20 years in Madonna years is EONS of changes, updates and reinventions. In fact, I may have to go dig it out of my attic this weekend while I look for my old Icon mags as well. Would absolutely love an updated version - so much more has happened since the first edition! I can't even begin to comprehend how he's going to put it all together, but I'll tell you, his first book was my favorite Madonna book ever. I referred to it countless times through the years. I got everything I know from this book as well and remember loads of stuff. How he'll do it is another matter, seemingly a nigh on impossible task with how quickly things move in Vadgeland and post-internet. He could maybe take a tip or two from Mozipedia, the recent Morrissey encylopedia. Too many sections will need updating and he may have to start from scratch, reformatting it.
