svperstar Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 It's a leftover David Foster collab from the "Something To Remember" era.
Guest Pud Whacker Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 What was this from again? asking the same. and does she whimper at the end?
svperstar Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 It's okay, nothing earth-shattering. But pleasant enough. But it does seem the unreleased stuff is beginning to trickle out at a normal pace now, and that's exciting!
Crystal Coffin Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 and does she whimper at the end? OMG
Genevieve Vavance Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 and does she whimper at the end? wtf was that
BabyDietrich Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Hm, Very relaxing/pleasant The first part sounds really familiar thanks for posting this
Guest ursaminorjim Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 I'd say it's very early-80s, myself. It's like if "Crazy for you" were "Rain." Or maybe vice-versa. Or maybe Spandau Ballet's "True" minus the hernia. Either way, it's lovely. I could totally hear this in a montage scene from a romantic dramadey starring, like, Jill Clayburgh and Alan Alda. Thanks, cos!
Lymon Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 It won't let me edit this or delete it on iTunes. Is anyone else having the same problem?
Sire Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Thanks for the link! It's not bad really. God knows why they never used stuff like this as B-sides for You'll See or One More Chance.
Lymon Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Nevermind, solved the problem. I like it, it's a cute song. Would've been nice as a B-Side or bonus track.
acko Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 David Foster just plain sucks. Madonna is wonderful. This song sounds very much like a work in progress.
jonski43 Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Great to get this stuff but it just sounds like some leftover from LAP. You'll See and I Want You are superior songs and even One More Chance is stronger than this.
Guest Not4Pussies Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 somebody needs to make a decent remix out of this demo
Guest ursaminorjim Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Great to get this stuff but it just sounds like some leftover from LAP. You'll See and I Want You are superior songs and even One More Chance is stronger than this. Umm...I actually prefer this to "You'll see."
svperstar Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 BLASPHEMY!!! I can see if some think it's preferable to "One More Chance" maybe, but "You'll See"? OUCH.
acko Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Umm...I actually prefer this to "You'll see." C'mon now, this one's barely a song...they're clearly still laying it out.
Guest ursaminorjim Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Really? I think it's a perfectly crafted song, just needs a little polish. And the lyrics on the bridge are kinda hokey. It's a little on the "safe" side overall, but I'm a sucker for choruses that shift keys.
Elysium Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Thought it was Jennifer Saunder's singing on first listen!
gemini1313 Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Thought it was Jennifer Saunder's singing on first listen! French & Saunders.....da da da da da daaaaaaaaaaa
neutrocks Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Downloaded it elsewhere, but I think it's a sweet song. I see why it was left off. Beautiful though. I like the piano throughout.

Ugly Hecty Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 This sounds like an Adult Contemporary #1 smash from 1995. All it's missing is a clarinet solo from Kenny G and some backup vocals from Michael Bolton. It's really pleasant to the ear but the chorus totally sounds demo-ish.
