funkydita
who's 'Alesha'?? Pretty sure ur talkin bout AleCIA/P!nk lol ???? just wanna make sure No, I'm talking about Alesha Dixon, a UK pop star who used to be in a band called Mis-Teeq (she was an amazing rapper or sorts in the group). A few people on here have shown interest in her so I sometimes include her positions in updates. You may know her as the dancer in NERD's She Wants To Move video? Guest Johnkm
Oh #14 is quite a bit higher that I would have thought Lets Get Excited would reach, its one of those songs that I can never make up my mind whether I love it or loathe it. But its difinitely helped her album, thats its highest position so far.
funkydita
According to yesterday's midweeks the single was at 13 and the album at 12.
Guest Johnkm
Well the album had been at #12 when Breathe Slow came out, so for it to even get that high with a much les successful single is still great.

aeroco
I must buy her album, wish I had back in December when you loosely suggested it! I like the last two songs and even the first one has grown on me as a nice fun track.

Guest Johnkm
1 - Dizzee Rascal (selling over twice as much as BEP at 2) 3 - Alexander Rybak! Jesus Christ, if that is #1 it'll be the first #1 since Kings Of Leon all the way back in September I dont like. And as for Rybak, its good to see a Eurovision song doing well, but why THAT one, why not Jade?
funkydita
Jesus Christ, if that is #1 it'll be the first #1 since Kings Of Leon all the way back in September I dont like. Bite your tongue! I LOVE Dizee! He's a genuine maverick and visionary in a sea of dull and generic hip hop. Rant over .

aeroco
The Eurovision effect is quickly wearing off already. Shame. Jade has done enough for top 30, hopefully her physical sales are decent. Alexander will stay top ten, esp now that the itunes problem has been resolved. Hopefully he has enough power to stay top 5.
Ciccone's Cheeks
that Dizzie song 'Bonkers' is great..some insane beats there ! totally deserves #1! It's the last kind of song that would ever get a spin or attention in the U.S lol !
Zezwer
This must be the first time in a long time that a Eurovision entry becomes a hit in the UK right? Here in Sweden Alexander Rybak is already #1 on our official singles chart, Yohanna (Iceland) is #3 and there are like 10 Eurovision entries in our whole top.40.
