Juan Carlos Lopez-Gomez, a 20-year-old U.S. citizen, was detained in Florida under a state anti-immigration law — even after his birth certificate and Social Security card were presented in court. He was charged under a law that was temporarily blocked by a federal judge on April 4th, before his arrest. He’s now been released and reunited with his family.

WTF there has been an increasing frequency lately of people being wrongfully detained by by I.C.E. and ordered for deportation and receiving no due process, including even U.S. citizens!!!
