I actually thought this was one of the few times she didn't rely on cliches. I mean to say "would you take me seriously if I had black skin and an afro" isn't cliche at all.

It's not cliche at all. It's a well rounded and articulated opinion. :-)

and what matters is that folks were compeled to go, fuck the media, it matters if they were moved to love or to being blaise

i find it hard to take serious posters who have around hundred posts that hate on this...while others that have been around long who hate on it, then deal with it, lol....maybe all u want is music from her and thats fine.

It was the bestttttt viewing experience ever! So glad to have finally met! I heard we had the best sound of all the viewings :dramatic: but of course.....

the sound was great! what did you do after? did you go drink at the abbey?

She obviously did, why would there be trucks with the gym otherwise?

I understand she needs to bring the money for this project from somewhere. And there are millions of ways of doing just that.

Where in my text have I accused her whole intention as being "cheap"? The only thing I stated was that the HC trucks in Berlin, coupled with her showing an art film, felt a little bit cheap to me. It has nothing to do with her intentions. GET REAL.

my guess is that someone running the gym saw something madonna related going on and sent the truck down. Doesnt have to be some negative reasoning. Use your brain.

So no association with gaga or Rihanna ?

If the project is all about this short film, then obviously not. Thank God for that, I could deal with Rihanna (even though she should never be put on the same podest as M), Gaga on the other hand....But whatever, fortunately it's only M and her message.

I am not getting upset or sensitive. I am not sensitive in the slightest. Like you, I am expressing my opinion. Maybe the main difference between us is the inspiration we feel to form an opinion. It's clear that Madonna has paid for this and had help from her friends. That's why it's probably taken so long (well, according to whinging fans it did). She's not SELLING anything. She's PAYING for something. Trying to reverse that intention as being something 'cheap' as you put it is both ill informed and puerile. Couldn't you maybe discuss the implications of a worldwide sharing platform where people can present new ideas and support people less fortunate themselves? Couldn't you present your feelings on the things Madonna is saying need attention in her dialogue? I mean, I am genuinely confused as to what you get out of your insinuation that this is a cheap advertising stunt. Madonna could spend five minutes being interviewed and it would get worldwide attention yet you think she chose to spend time, money and energy making a film which is being presented to A MINIMAL AUDIENCE in order to promote a gym? GET REAL.

Madonna Announces Secretprojectrevolution, An Art For Freedom Project

Madonna's secretprojectrevolution, the 17-minute film she co-directed with Steven Klein, will be unveiled on September 24th, 2013. The film launches Art For Freedom, an online global initiative to further freedom of expression, created by Madonna, curated by VICE, and distributed by BitTorrent.

"My goal is to show by the example of secretprojectrevolution my creative commitment to inspire change in the world through artistic expression. I hope my film and other submissions to Art For Freedom will be a call-to-action and give people a place to voice their own creative expression to help fight oppression, intolerance and complacency," commented Madonna.

Art For Freedom is a global digital initiative, led by Madonna, designed to fuel free speech - to respond, address and protest persecution around the world. It is an online public art project encouraging the world to express their personal meaning of freedom and revolution, in the form of video, music, poetry, and photography. Public submissions will become part of the Art For Freedom platform: contributors can join the project by uploading original artwork or tagging original posts #artforfreedom.

Art For Freedom launches with the secretprojectrevolution film distributed as a BitTorrent Bundle. The film, plus bonus content, is available to the public for free download beginning September 24 at 9pm PST (4.00am GMT). Anyone can download and unlock the secretprojectrevolution Bundle (bundles.bittorrent.com/madonna-revolution/) to receive the film, plus bonus content, for free.

The BitTorrent Bundle is a powerful new media format that's built to move freely across the Internet. It is designed to hold any file type, and any file size. And it's designed to encourage and empower free expression, beyond the Internet's walled gardens.

Fans who download the secretprojectrevolution Bundle will instantly receive stills from the film and three HD film trailers.
