SO can we expect an approximate final gross for the tour? I mean if all of the dates are sold out before MDNA gets released that means the final gross is already there...

You can't......you need to include merchandise....etc....plus extra seats become available due to stage configuration at each venue...

Does anybody know or even have an opinion of where you sit when you purchase the $275 VIP ticket, it says premium seating or something and I'm wondering if that's worth it...since I was lucky enough to buy a floor section for Yankee stadium, I was thinking of buying the VIP ticket for the Atlantic city show...

Montreal has the ''V'' stage, too!

A waiting room is open for the Madonna pre-sale at the Bell Centre in Montreal, and MadonnaTribe reader Flavio is sending in a picture of the plan so we can share it with other Tribers.

Note the V shape stage similar to other venues in North America. The plot thickens...

I says lower bowl - which theoretically should be the 100 section of the arena - but it's the next price level down ticket wise so it would be facing the stage head on from the opposite side of the arena - at that point, just pay the extra $100 and be close -

To V or not to V? More and more outlets in North America are using a stage design with the V shaped catwalk. This of course contradicts with the Tel Aviv stage we saw and is leaving everyone confused. Madonna has never restructured her stage before and this could be very interesting! It seems it could mean a slightly different show for North America having to rechoreograph certain numbers. Nothing is confirmed yet though. Note, although much smaller, Madonna's Virgin Tour stage was shaped like a V.

Yeah I'm contemplating that. For Yankee stadium there is no way I can be seated behind the baseball field which separates the entire audience. It's odd and I'm thankful I got B5. No matter how far from the stage it is, I'll feel like I'm at the the show.

I was thinking, for Atlantic city, buying that VIP ticket and enjoying it in a more relaxed fashion. Get the shirt, the book (and not have to spend the money on it that day) and it would just make for a nice ending to my seeing her but I'm contemplating it cause I feel that when I'm actually there, I'm going to be fuming that I decided to sit far back instead of getting to see her up close. I'm torn cause I shouldn't be wasting the extra $100 but we'll see! Thanks anyway for the advice.

Merch is never included in concert grosses in the press. They only provide boxscores. Grosses are tickets only. FYI.

Ticket and map from Helsinki

Madonna World Tour 2012The tickets for the pre-sale for the Madonna World Tour concert in Helsinki, Finland were available as pdf-files delivered by email, and here is how they looked like.

You can also check the map of the Olympic Stadium in the image below, with the stage layout taken from the official map by Live Nation. Satellite stage again.

So it seems like the stage for the European leg got the satellite catwalk while the one for the US shows got that triangular catwalk.

this is so strange, do you think there's gonna be two different setlists for the two different stages? It puzzles me why she did this

Madonna gig in Hyde Park at risk?

Gigs set for this summer in Hyde Park, London are reportedly at risk because of complaints by local residents.

The London Evening Standard writes that Mayfair residents have complained about the noise from the regular shows which take place in the public park every summer. Madonna will play the park on July 11 and Bruce Springsteen on July 14.

The acts most at risk of being pulled are dance acts who play repetitive beats. A report says last summer 109 complaints about the noise were made, which was double the number from 2010.

Meanwhile, Mayor of London Boris Johnson said…

Barcelona is now onsale to the public. I wonder if it will get a second date. I would imagine they would. She did 5 stadium shows in Spain alone last year.

Update: First Barcelona show sold out incredibly fast.
