slam3000
The original prices of the second show are about the same price as S&S at the same venue. But she was coming off the back of the Confessions era and 4M was #1 here for 3 weeks and GI2M was a top ten hit here. Her stock was a LOT higher. I don't remember price reductions months before the show. Yeah, her stock's definitely fallen in the last few years. Do you know how many second dates have been added to the tour as a whole? As far as I'm aware it's not been that many which is worrying given what Arthur Fogel said in March: "A tour with a budget like [Madonna's] counts on adding on second and third nights in markets... That's why it's scheduled with lots of empty dates in major markets."
Ai Papi Si.
Did he really say that? Fucking hell. They have just a few months to figure this nonsense out. lori
Awww Expedia have refunded me for my hotel, but not flights, I'm still getting back just under £2000 so I'm only losing £1200. And we've managed to get airline credit for our Miami - Atlanta flights, as its only a domestic flight they managed to do that for us. So happy I haven't lost the full whack. Thanks for well wishes guys. I'm exhausted. Great news. At least you got more than half your money back. My friend who used to work for United Airlines called me today to give additional advice. She said that you should call the airlines again 2-3 weeks before your scheduled flight. If the demand for that particular flight is high, they might allow you to cancel with a fee. That way, they can still book your seat (probably at a higher price) plus earn the fee.

It's time to fork over some cash and force Bitch I'm Madonna to be her next 4 Minutes. its so screwed that she doesnt have a fucking hit song for this era!!! and her touring reputation is shot. im about to tread delicate ground here. im frightened that the madonsters will find and kill and eat me like zombies. nah but really, this is concerning as a madonna fan since 1983. why isnt she selling out? Los Angeles hasnt even sold out ONE NIGHT - seating equivalent to 2 nights at MSG. thats unheard of - ITS MADONNA!!! the thanksgiving of MDNA, my cousins wife said she went to see madonna. (aside from my dad, sister, lover, and close close friends i dont talk about madonna - i listen) that she came on late (around 10:45 pm, showtime was 8), and she had to leave at 11:30 because she had to drive 45 minutes home and had to get up at 6 am the following morning for work. that doesnt make someone want to lay out 350. for the next concert. personally i think a lot of those people went back to see madonna because of the Super Bowl. they wanted to see one of the worlds greatest entertainers doing 30 years of hits. outside of Madonna's billion dollar bubble and in the real world they call that Bad Business. and people dont return. i think were seeing that now. ---- SLING THE ARROWS!!! James0479
I just checked Ticketmaster for Atlanta tickets and sure enough those have been marked down as well. Hell, section 4 row J popped up at $359....those were $408 before! The other levels have dropped accordingly.

James0479
I can't wait to see what times Madonna hits the stage on this tour. I KNOW the show will be worth it at the end of the day but I'm just hoping the issues are behind us. A friend of mine considered us waiting until around 10pm to go into the arena. I said, my luck she will have started at 8:02 and we get the last 4 minutes of the encore lol
Guest bluejean
If she's scheduled at 8pm she should start around 9. That's the norm I think.

I guess at arenas, it is usually fairly early. I am pretty used to waiting for shows (but most of the shows I see are at clubs)... I guess most of the GP who go to see huge acts at arenas aren't. Madonna simply cannot start late this time. Thank God i've held off on booking any tickets at all. Sorry to those who are having headaches. I saw Fleetwood Mac in an arena last year, the time said 8pm and they were on at like 8:15 to 8:20... people who go to the big shows and casino shows expect promptness I think. TrueBlue
I don't think I have ever seen Madonna come on sooner than an hour after scheduled time, often later. After the S&S I saw in London many were very angry as it started/finished so late the tube stopped. But the longest wait was my first show Blond Ambition Gothenburg, it was many hours late as they apparantly kept waiting for the scandinavian summer sun to disappear
James0479
I've seen a lot of shows and 98% of them all say they start at 8pm. Obviously none usually do. From my experiences Id say the average time the artist is on the stage is about 9pm. That can be with or without an opening act. 9:30 is considered late to most people. My MDNA show didn't start until 10:52pm. I looked at my phone when the church bells began. That's crazy late. It doesn't bother ME because I'm there to party. But no doubt that has played SOMEthing with demand for this tour. So it'll be interesting to see of she got that memo lol Edited May 22, 2015 by James0479

TrueBlue
I think it's a bit hard having standing tickets waiting many hours before it starts. You may have to exit sometimes for something to drink or toilets and loose your place, also I get tired physically before it even starts. In several countries she really can't get on as late as around eleven though as the whole show will be subject to fines if there's noise after 12.
