TXIII Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Love this album. Was listening to Isaac and was on Omegle and encountered a Gargoyle fan and even he liked it. You're now chatting with a random stranger. Say hi! Stranger: rad music You: Madonna Stranger: ew jk Stranger has disconnected.
Creepy Insane Person Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 (edited) Confessions is absolutely amazing. Has a very new york/city feel at sunset and/or it's rainingish feel where all the high rise office buildings are. Plus it has that futuristic go into the real word/making the world an innovative place type feeling. <3 Jump is soooo amazing, especially the video, as it How High, Push and Future Lovers. <3 The whole thing is just a masterpiece. scottyenzed Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 It's her best album in my opinion. I remember when I first heard it I was absolutely blown away. Happy Birthday darling
Kurt420 Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Definitely.... her last real iconic album for sure. Confessions defined an era, it set a great mood of freedom and expression. I love everything about it and to think that it is almost a decade old its shocking, i have so many great memories of that time... it was the best time of my life!! I'm with you!! Although I didn't know it at the time, this album would end up signifying the closing of a somewhat tough period of my life and the beginning of a new, eye opening and exciting chapter. The first time I listened to this album, I let my most comfy chair swallow me, put my headphones on, computer in lap, sparked up a blunt and enjoyed the ride. I became so immersed and enthralled, a meteor could've crashed into the other side of my living room and I wouldn't have flinched. After that last strum of the guitar at the end of LION, I just sat frozen and silent. I was completely blown away by what I'd just heard. This is probably my favorite first time listening experience of one of her new releases. The fact this is nearly a decade ago is scary to me.....lol. This album still seems new(ish) to me! I consider it "recent" Madonna.
5iVe Elements Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 I remember the entire windows of the music store with the Confessions posters where Madonna was in pink leotard. I wasn't a fan then but if I was I would've took a picture.
