Guest groovyguy
Madonna Flash Mob Do you want to participate in a Madonna flash mob? Here’s your chance: Madonna will perform at the Super Bowl half-time show in February and Bay Area Flash Mob will celebrate Madge with a flash mob on Saturday, February 4 between noon and 4pm at several locations of San Francisco. They will perform a Madonna Medley including Don’t Tell Me, Express Yourself, Holiday, Music and Vogue. You can learn all these songs from our dance tutorial videos available on the following link: http://bayareaflashmob.com/Tutorials.aspx To participate, you need to learn at least the final song of the Medley: “Vogue”. More info at Bay Area Flash Mob.
adreeyen
Leotards already had iconography to them. Fame, flashdance, the seventies etc. Madonna is an expert with postmodern references. She even managed to reference herself several times. Her postmodern referencing of MTV vma 1984 at the 2003 vmas was pure genius. I get annoyed with that wrestling thing as a common misconception Hipster. No offense. Ah, well yes, I meant to put "that sort" instead of "a sort," but I'm a sloppy typer. "That sort" being the tackiness that I had talked about. I don't see leotards in that same light. I know it was boxing (she's wearing boxing gloves after all), but again, I don't always elaborate, or even realize what I'm typing. Either way, no offense taken. pattitude
Isn't the sound from the superbowl broadcast usually kinda shit? Yeah for the most part. You could barely hear The Black Eye Peas and this is a "Live" performance, not a DVD release of one of her tours, so I wouldn't be surprised if her voice isn't up to par. I actually look forward to an unpolished vocal performance. Probably some playback and vocal effects will be thrown in but thats okay.
ChaunceyD
i think its kinda rude that Giampero from DrownedMadonna took the info I posted and copied it word for word in his post on his blog. He said 'a report from a Madonna Nation member'. Could have easily said my name instead. Now people are going to think he wrote the part about pushing homo magic in the faces of football fans etc. bitch slap him! haha

I so hope the rumors are true! Too bad Madonna already kissed Britney on stage. This would've been the perfect platform to do a lesbian kiss with Minaj...lol. Oh well....hopefully there'll be some hot men making out instead. I just know she's gonna find some sort of way to push the envelope with this....without going over the edge like some others have done in past Super Bowls. Guest bluejean
Yes, she will not to be able to step out of line. If she's having the gay choir, really faggy dancing and a sexy outfit for herself that will all be enough to cause a stir without crossing the line.
