cosmic_system
Just like any Madonna forum I reckon. Half of her fans love to trash everything she does. Well actually she said how much she donated THIS TIME. And I don't like it, for the same reasons you said in your original post.

liquidlove
Well actually she said how much she donated THIS TIME. And I don't like it, for the same reasons you said in your original post. Well even so... My point is he is going out there calling this HIS telethon when a ton of other celebrities are involved and he is going to open the show with HIS donation of 1 million. It's more the fact that he is turning this into "Telethon for Haiti: STARRING GEORGE CLOONEY!"
liquidlove
And I REALLY hate Clooney, but good on him for this I used to think he was so sexy. Like 10 years ago I made a fake nude of him using the windows paint program and I posted it on a celebrity nudes site and it got spread around and you can still find it to this day by looking up george clooney nude! HolidayGuy
Any preoccupation with the charts- in regards to this event- is unorthodox, but not a reason for a ban. And for anyone wondering about such important matters, if the song was a performance of one old track, it may not be eligible for the Hot 100 (unless it involved an act in addition to Madonna; though asa new vocal, maybe it would). But, if it were a LAP/LTT combo and it sold enough, that would be eligible without a doubt (I imagine). Still nothing about the song(s)?

HolidayGuy
Why would you be surprised about LTT, nkm? She performed it on the Confessions Tour, and it's one track that she continually speaks fondly of. And, it's fitting to the occasion, as you said. A mix of LAP and LTT would be great to see, not to mention appropriate. These performances will be live or pre-taped? The Tsunami performance looked to be recorded, but who knows.
