Guest waiting Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 now THAT is hot because the "effect" they are talking about is apparent here. This is the only one I like. The others lack class.
Guest Coked Up Baby Boy Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Very cool, reminds me of Japanese Anime! Love the shoot. Hope her next era looks a little like this.
zephyralexxx Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Very cool, reminds me of Japanese Anime! Love the shoot. Hope her next era looks a little like this. i hope this kind of dark and artsy artwork will be made for the upcoming compilation. even if it's very weird to see M on some of the images, i think it will be very iconic in time.
natural Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 and people - images like this dont sell product. if you plan a career in advertising - GET OUT NOW. I don't know. I feel like pancakes, all of a sudden, for some reason.
Guest Pud Whacker Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 I don't know. I feel like pancakes, all of a sudden, for some reason. im so thrilled madonna is 50 and still doing ads like these and her music and her concerts and all the other shyt she does. i love it all. THE MORE THE BETTER!!!!
Nightshade Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 I think I like this shoot. It's darker, creepier than the last one. There is something edgy about it though...anyway, I can dig it.
Guest Pud Whacker Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 so these are all 6? cant wait to see them in print!!!!theyll be page stoppers in magazines!!!
Elysium Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 I like this one although there's something 'crazy old lady' about it. At least the eyes are hers. The other pics are just silhouettes of Madonna due to the intense photo shop.
Elysium Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Come to think of it...there's something very Tamara De Lempicka about these images...wonder if that was a direct inspiration for the campaign...Cubism and Art Deco.

le smoking Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Madonna for Louis Vuitton Advertising Campaign Fall/Winter 2009-2010 Following the success of Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2009 fashion campaign starring Madonna and photographed by Steven Meisel, Artistic Director Marc Jacobs was keen to repeat the experience for Fall/Winter, but equally determined to produce something entirely different. Shot in a New York studio, the Fall/Winter 2009-2010 campaign thus features Madonna in a series of sophisticated portraits reminiscent of the golden age of Hollywood. Inspired by the photographs of Man Ray, who perfected the technique of solarisation, and nodding to the lush colours and sumptuous draperies of the paintings of Tamara de Lempicka, the images have a softer, more intimate quality than the previous campaign, while losing nothing of its power to arrest. In the seven visuals, Madonna models key pieces from Marc Jacobs' Fall/Winter ready-to-wear collection for Louis Vuitton, whose ruffled silks, extravagant accessories and sequinned Monogram bags strike an out-and-out glamorous note, which is balanced by the sweetly ironic presence of the bunny ears that were such a hit on the catwalk. "After the fun we had with the Spring/Summer campaign, and the amazing reaction to it, all of us – Madonna, Steven and myself – were eager to get back together for Fall/Winter," comments Marc Jacobs. "While the two campaigns look very different, there is also a unity about them, so it now feels like we have completed both parts of the story." Antoine Arnault, Head of Communications for Louis Vuitton, comments: "This is another superb campaign, reflecting not only the close relationship between Madonna, Marc Jacobs and Steven Meisel, but also their immense creative talent and their consistent desire to challenge and innovate." The Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2009-2010 advertising campaign will break in the August 2009 issues of magazines worldwide.
