You're really the only one claiming that everyone is lying now, glittercandy. Your only rebuttal now is to claim that I'm in bed with the scalpers (yet earlier today I was "naive" for believing all of the statements made in various magazines and newspapers, as well as by Stubhub themselves....now I'm one of them!). My question is where are the tickets coming from if they were listed before any other sale? Secondly if these tickets don't actually "exist" yet and stubhub is only listing tickets they assume the public will resell on their site once the general sale begins why haven't any tickets for the first 10 rows or so been removed by now? Not one die-hard fan who has tried to buy tickets in any kind of sale to the public has managed to get anywhere near these kinds of tickets. (I think the best I've read so far was about row 13) Are we to assume scaplers bought these tickets in the pre-sales and general sales before any fan managed to get anything in the same sales and are now selling the tickets on stubhub? They are secret deals that take place between the ticket agencies and Ticketmaster, Promoters (like Live Nation), and the concert venues. In some cases I'm sure Ticketmaster and/or the venues will take tickets back that the scalpers have been unable to unload especially if a show has been declared "sold out" as they know they can easily sell them. Most of the general public and casual fans don't even know about this StubHub thing.....and if they did, they probably wouldn't give a fuck anyways. She has to piss off WAY more people than a handful of fans that post on message boards devoted to her to have a true backlash. Which is why in the long run NONE of this is going to matter. Nobody here even knows the in's and out's of this business deal, whether you are for or against it, ALL of us are making assumptions. I don't know that she's not giving her best seats to StubHub to sell at triple the face value. Just like you don't know that she is. All I can tell you is I and many others have gotten great seats at face value just like I always have done.
