Guest iMisto
If somebody posts a link to stations' websites, I will gladly fill out mass requests. I've been do'n it for AZ's 104.7 Kiss Fm, and she's moved up steadily each day.
davejr. Guest iMisto
You guys, what can we do to help push this even further??? I've bought the single 7 times total... call me a lamb. AHAHAHHA! I can't help it. Plus, I bought the video today, DUH. Anyway, I've been requesting the song at my mainstreem radio station, 104.7 Kiss FM. Hopefully, you guys are doing the same. I'll just cry if this doesn't hit the top spot! Do you think the video premier helped boost the song/ringtone?? I mean, the ringtone was number 2 this morning, and now it's number 1 by HUGE eff'n margins!!

xoxoboi24
Buying the single multiple times does not count. Just FYI. You're wasting your pennies. not true. That's like saying if you buy an album more than once, only one is counted. This isn't a request line or something. lol Soundscan counts each copy bought, whether they were bought by one person or a million persons. Guest iMisto
Really??? That eff'n sucks!!!!!!!!! What the hell are the lambs doing? Setting up a bazillion accounts? And what about requesting the song online at local stations? Do they know it's the same computer?

Do they know it's the same computer? iTunes shouldn't care if the purchase is from one PC or IP... they should base it by accounts... just imagine if there are 5 different users who want to purchase the tune and they live in one roof and use the same PC... that would be unfair... * sets up 100 accounts *

Joey
What possesses people to do this!? because no matter how much people laugh at Mariah's crazed fans... truth is EVERY artist has them and they ALL buy multiple copies of singles/albums people just want their fave artists to do well and appear popular to the general masses record companies LOVE the LOONS
mtzlplk
so I guess MADONNA loons are far richer because 4 MINUTES actually will gain more sales for next week... unlike the other one which will experience a huge drop
jayaredee
I work at Starbucks and I tell EVERY customer to go on iTunes and download 4 Minutes. lol What a fantastic idea. I'm going to do the same when i make my business calls at work today. I think everyone should use their job as an opportunity to promote Madonna. Lets do it lambs! Supernatural
the big difference is their icon calls for it... another difference is Mariah calls in the troops for things that cost 49 or 99 cents while we all come out for 300-500 dollar concert tickets. Guest iMisto
What's wrong with loons mobilizing?? I mean, everybody on this forum TALKS about how they wish she'd hit the sumit... so what's wrong with turning those words into actions??(thx Hillary) lol As for myself, I will continue requesting the song online, at my local stations! Guest Bad Robot
To better organize the forum, I'm creating this thread so people can discuss stuff like radio requests and download days and other promotional efforts. Posts about how to get Madonna up the charts should go here -- feel free to use the existing airplay, iTunes, and other charts threads for discussions that are just about the numbers! horn
I think that lambs are better fans than us. They do everything what they can in order that put their idol on top. SO SAD. I would have to agree with george on this. No offense but it seems like some Madonna fans are just waiting for miracles to happen w/o taking any action (e.g. request for the songs; buy the digital single online etc) and yet still complaining why aren't 4M getting more spins / chart higher on iTunes. FYI, 4M's spin gains are getting lesser and lesser each day. See for yourself:
Kyoko
Mariah's fans are mostly kiddies/teens. Madonna's fans are older, working professionals. We can't devote as much time to getting 99cent songs sold via multiple accounts. But we'll take a night out on the town and drop $400 on a live show. Which diva do you think has got it better?
