madonnasuperfan01 Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 There's something i want to know. In the US, Hung Up and Music are apparently the two most successful dance songs in the clubs from the 00's. Do some of you know on what this is based? It is about the number of weeks they were n°1 on the Hot/Dance Club songs charts or about how much they were played? Or maybe both? Thanks for anyone who can answer me, i've been wondering that for awhile now.
nick00 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Didn't realize both songs were considered two of the biggest dance songs of the 00's. I use to go out to several bars & clubs in NY around the time these songs were released & I don't remember hearing them very often.
Larkspur Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 "Music" was everywhere when it came out and my non Madonna fans were talking about it. Wasn't spending a lot of time going out at all when Hung Up came around so I don't know how much it was played. It was a huge worldwide hit, I know that but don't know how much it was played in the U.S.
Flip The Switch Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Music was a hit. Radio, tv, everywhere. Hung Up massive downloads.
Platinum Gold Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Music was the first Madonna song I ever heard. I was 6 years old
