Ai Papi Si.
Yeah you're right. For anyone else, these numbers would be astronomical. It makes Sticky & Sweet's success even more mind boggling when you think about it.
Mat.Guy
I wonder if it was a case of market saturation in Brazil. These are huge crowds we are talking about still. But she had gone there for S&S in 2008 and that was hugely anticipated as it was her first time back there since The Girlie Show. It may be that when she plays Brazil for the next tour (which of course she will) she may have to play fewer dates, but it's still not a biggie. She is still the Queen of Latin America by far. YES! She's the only Queen. Just look at gagarts numbers... It was a lot of factors. Bad choice of venue, high priced tickets, lack of respect from the local producer.... EVERYONE I talked to said they won't see her in Brazil again. They're all gonna travel to Argentina or somewhere else. Me included.
davejr.
RIO gave the biggest shock for me...was expecting way more than that...it was all over the papers...she had 60k plus audience.. Argentina's boxscore could well be on the same level as Rio'S.. Edited January 2, 2013 by davejr.
