But I forgot, it's just government overreach when it comes from democrats and when people are supposed to wear a mask during a pandemic to protect themselves and the people around them. Quite frankly, this and that new election law shows that the republicans in Texas are fighting tooth and nail to stay in power because they know their time is up. With each election Texas is getting closer and closer turning blue. All big cities already are. And since those cities are in general more progressive (which applies to every big city, even in the most dark red states), they know it's a lost cause and therefore concentrate on the rural areas with a more conservative and christian background.
