Barbie Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 The album is amazing, end of story. Didn't listen to most of the demos so having no expectations helps. She did great, her producers did great. Madonna delivered once again. Rebel Heart is FLAWLESS. Even for a super long album. It's everything and more.
Roland Barthes Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 Ok now i won't listen to it anymore until it's officially released otherwise i'm gonna binge on it and i want a clean version (mastered) with credits to read while i listen to it.
boy skeffington Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 YES, IT IS STILL A FANTASTIC ALBUM apart from those 4 songs with Avicii they have butchered... What i don't get is if they can preserve the Avicii sound in ADDICTED (which is almost untouched from the demo), why not with those other 3 very beautiful songs? Anyhow, I am replacing them on my playlist with the demos... they are in high quality anyway... there, problem solved... We get your opinions. All of them. Please.Madonna album not Avicii album.
Platinum Gold Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Omg the parts that were sped up on Graffiti Heart
Adriano Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Veni Vidi Vici just murdered my vagina My dick is over, i feel operated
magodonna Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Those first Avicii versions of RH and WAOM could certainly be used as 'thee' remix of those tracks...with a little tune up here and there and released as singles they can be massive!!!
Michael. Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Going through and only up to Iconic so far. For someone who hasn't listened to the demos all the tracks are on point. Iconic for single #2!!
mtzlplk Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Those first Avicii versions of RH and WAOM could certainly be used as 'thee' remix of those tracks...with a little tune up here and there and released as singles they can be massive!!! yeah, i really hope they do that... or at least let it appear in the Avicii album later this year
Revolver Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I'm addicted....to Addicted..I want to marry it.
Michael. Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 As someone who was not keen on Avicii, reading that he's "been scrubbed" from the album is music to my ears.
Platinum Gold Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Why am i crying to Queen though?!? anyone else?!!!
Django Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Body Shop >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> life
markm Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Poor Madinna. The leak must have come from the listening parties. They need to release the album now. A months time is too late
Urien Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 YES, IT IS STILL A FANTASTIC ALBUM apart from those 4 songs with Avicii they have butchered... Anyhow, I am replacing them on my playlist with the demos... they are in high quality anyway... there, problem solved... Well I like to listen to albums as wholes so I'm not one to replace tracks. Having said that, I have another album on my ipod called 'Iconic' with the best demos, which includes Avicii's wonderful contributions, such as Rebel Heart, Beautiful Scars, WAOM, and Messiah (Demo 2!)
mtzlplk Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I'm addicted....to Addicted..I want to marry it. Yes it was polished really well but keeping loyal to the leaked demo... this song was lucky not to be butchered... it is just perfect right now...
Picho Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Rebel Heart's demo was indeed a single choice to pick (if it was kept that way) the final version is HELL NO
le smoking Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 omg I need some time to adjust to Joan of Arc!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Picho Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I don't know guys, but I'd blame her record label.
Revolver Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Beautiful Scars is gonna have to grow on me...Demo and Final are completely different tracks but I love that it was included as bonus.
lori Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Strange but the songs I liked the least from the demo versions, I like more now with the final version. Holy Water, VVV, S.E.X., Hold Tight and Heartbreak City have become standouts. On the other hand, the songs I liked the most from the demo versions, I like less now - Joan of Arc, WAOM, Borrowed Time & Beautiful Scars. Most notably, Rebel Heart which I adored in its demo form is a major letdown in its final version. It's still a good song but does nothing for me now. But all in all it's still an exceptional album.
mtzlplk Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Body Shop. No thanks. This bit really redeems the song, esp the melody... I would fly to the ends of the Earth for you.... Jump start my heart... you know what you gotta do.... I would ride through the dark and the night with you... Cross my heart and hope to die it's true...
magodonna Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Best Night seems to have been one of few that stayed the same from the demo version...this is definitely the best night of my lalalalife
BangGangUK Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Inside Out Damn, I knew she'd get rid of that NIN/Bjork production sound...too many soldier drums.
the-queen Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Joan of Arc is a thing of beauty. I'm amazed at how good this is, sounds like Love Profusion in a way.
Revolver Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) Some of the backing vocals on "Queen" remind me slightly of Imogen Heap Edited February 3, 2015 by Revolver
