peter Posted September 20, 2009 Share Posted September 20, 2009 If we don't get a single release for Revolver, maybe we'll get an even BETTER video if it becomes a tour backdrop down the road. Her tour videos seem to receive more attention and also just seem to be of a higher quality than most of her single-release videos these days. So... although I'd probably like some remixes of this, maybe it will end up working in our favor even if she doesn't release it. (Then again, if this is the reincarnation of "Rescue Me," we may NEVER see/hear another note of it.) I think her deeper, "live" voice would suit it wonderfully and it is sing-along catchy. P.S. - I've already said before (I think in a poll I created) that David Fincher or Mark Romanek could do a really cinematic, mini-film of a video. Very femme fatale, very film noir. Classic black-and-white (and maybe even silver-y metallic -- that hyper-real, high-gloss look from such films as 300 and Sin City. Neither of which have I seen, but I mean the extremely stylized look of them.) Anyone think that maybe the unseen footage from the Steven Klein Rio shoot might eventually end up in this video? There were 'behind-the-scenes' blurry shots of Madonna in black surrounded by shirtless guys. We haven't really seen those turn up yet. (Yes, I know the Celebration single cover photos look a little like that -- and probably did come from Rio and were probably shot by Steven Klein -- but those are tour dancers in the photos with her, as if they were shot at a real party. She's strutting her stuff and pointing the gun at people as she wears a slinky and sexy prisoner's outfit. The police start to chase after her, but she keeps on strutting as they keep on failing to catch her. There are intercut shots of Madonna, in the jail cell, holding onto the jail bars and doing a sexy dance. For Lil' Wayne's part, he turns out to be one of the cops. The other cops get distracted and Lil' Wayne and Madonna end up in a chase-down. He goes after her but she keeps slinking by. Near the end, Lil' Wayne corners Madonna and captures her. She's back in the prison cell again. When the cops look away, she's gone again. There's a note on the mirror in the jail cell that says "Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the baddest of them all?" So you know, like a trodden down housewife, A bitch who works in a library and is really shy but wants to get a boys attention. The idea would be that instead of Madonna singing to a man to tell him how hot she is, she would be singing to a woman to say how hot women can be. Then all the hoes look amazing at the end and do some amazing choreography. It would be hotter than a volcano on a very hot day. That's actually quite hot. I love that idea. Lymon Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 I think he's turned off the option for Direct Messaging, because usually there will be an option on the side called "message _____" so you'll just have to do a regular reply to him. Highlight one of his Tweets, go to the right where the circled arrow thing is ahdnw hen you hover on it it should say "reply to guyoseary".
