She's a clever girl. Seeing as she signed a four-tours-contract with Livenation this will no doubt count as the second one. Therefore she can save her creative juices for the all new third and fourth tours, maybe this time with a three year gap between them = S&S 2009, the third (2011) and fourth tour (2014).

No, most likely it won't count as the second. It's just the Sticky & Sweet Tour revived.

So after the 4th tour in 2014 you think she won't do anything till 2017 when her contract finishes? She has 3 studio albums lined up, it would make sense to tour all of them.

Do we know for sure her contract is for 10 years? I imagined the contract is fulfilled when she delivers her last album and the last tour which she can easily do by 2014. She can tour her next two albums in 2011 and 2014 and release her third album (a hits package?) without needing to tour it. It depends I guess on whether times intervals between projects were specified by LN when signing her.

I think S&S 2009 will count as a second tour. It will be significant in length if any of those dates speculated are true. If she gave the tour a new name it would count as a second tour so I don't see why calling it S&S II or whatever will be will be any different. She could take Blond Ambition out on the road again if she wanted to and call it BA The Return but it would still be a tour leg all of its own.

When she signed it, every report said it would be in effect till 2017. 3 studio albums, no hits package

Sorry but adding more dates to Sticky & Sweet is most likely not a new tour, it's explicitly called as "extension" on Madonna.com.

As for now, it's European tour only for new cities, so that would be a slim second tour...

And I'm sure this will count as her 2nd tour on her contract.

No, it's adding more dates to Sticky & Sweet to make sure it remains the highest grossing solo tour. Why's this being debated?

I never thought she'd do this, but I guess it makes sense for her and Live Nation.

Everybody is calling it a second leg, but is it really? What if it's a completely different show with a new name, setlist, costumes, etc?

I'm sure there would be loads of changes starting with the Obama clips new vids would be done as it would be passe already if she still uses that clip. Also a new Britneyclip should be done maybe the same as the one Brit will be using for her new Circus tour. But I'm hoping she keeps the real highlights from the first leg. See you guys @ O2 Arena. (that is if the rumoured venue is included) otherwise See ya all in one of the venue [/b]

It's all very intriguing that she'd continue Stick and Sweet with this 2nd leg.

I really hope like the rest of you that she abandons the rock versions. I liked Burning Up in ReInvention, but that Hung Up in S&S was god awful.

I would think that she wouldn't change the costumes for a second leg of the S&S tour. I think she might tweak the setlist and change a bit on her makeup and hair...but who knows.

Yes it is another leg and it's the same show. If you need examples research shows by U2,Brunce Springstein, and the Rolling Stones. They are good examples of continued shows having various legs with months inbetweem keeping the basic stage/structure of the show and occasionally adjusting the setlist/outfits. By all common touring standards it's all ONE tour.

well..i agree....because when you see third time ROL in rock version and compare it with totaly new rock version of hung up its something fresh and interesting....i don t really understand why people don t appreciate it?> its good....its not something great like vogue or totaly new like like a prayer but its nice and i enjoyed each second of it....also boderline was good...and why the hell also himan nature? why not....its new...so....where is problem....yes...problem is when she do something that we already see and that is fucking Ray of light!

I think it's fake because a Finnish newspaper just reported that Madge is coming over on the second week of August and the concert won't be held at the Olympic Stadium. Apparently, it will be officially announced tomorrow so watch out y'all.

...and in order for M & LN to make any money at all - she'll have little choice to tour all of them!
