Guest henZ
this topic has nothing to do with Madonna..... You're a bright one, aren't you? A lot of the topics in here have nothing to do with Madonna. Yet they're still here for a reason. Sad that Björk is going to drop out again next week. Oh well. fak
well bjork like madonna makes good quality music and she is ignored in the usa like madonna. the fact that the song hit the top 100 - would this automatially increase airplay - could it be included on mainsttream chart programmes at least? Guest nothingfails0603
it's pretty bad that Warner isn't releasing the Volta special edition with the DVD until 2 weeks after the regular edition in the states, so a lot of Bjork's fans will just wait two more weeks to get it. I'm debating buying it on May 8th and leaving it sealed and then I'll return it on the 22nd and get the deluxe edition so she can have a top 10 debut nonetheless

Guest Beautiful Stranger
well bjork like madonna makes good quality music and she is ignored in the usa like madonna. Not exactly. Bjork is (unfairly) non-existant in the US compared to Madonna.

Ugly Hecty
UK Album Sales: Dismissed by critics as “exceedingly odd, even for Bjork”, the Icelandic singer’s 2005 soundtrack album Drawing Restraint 9 was a rare commercial failure, reaching only number 141 on the album chart, and selling fewer than 8,000 copies. New album Volta finds her in more commercial mode, and debuts at number seven on sales of 20,456. It is her sixth Top 10 album, a span which takes in all of her regular album releases since leaving The Sugacubes. It includes collaborations with Timbaland, and Antony & The Johnsons lead singer Antony Hegarty. "Volta" also up 2 spots to #4 in Estonia!
