The good thing about Madonna is that she didn't set out to be a singer. She wanted to be a dancer. I find that so ironic because dancers are not usually celebrity. i dont think she was being flippant, at all. she had her run in with courtney because they wanted to sign her to maverick. she had just put ingrid in rehab for cocaine abuse, was trying to get her bloated brother chris in there and anthony was a lost cause and lets not forget martin.

but drug stumps are always a disgusting display.

I felt that she was trying to reach out to me, even though at every chance she gets, she slags me off in the press. Years ago, she probably admired me and looked up to me, and now I’m like a parent to her or something, and she wants to destroy me. So, that’s what I think about Courtney [laughs].

What did you think of Kurt Cobain and his songwriting?

I thought, he’s really talented. I respect him as an artist. I never met him. He wasn’t really around long enough for me to really sink my teeth into. Brilliant words and accurate description. She said nothing that even a doctor wouldn't say about Courtney, analysing her behaviour. Not "bitchy" remarks at all, just the accurate truth ad she doesn't hold a PHD in psychiatry
