In 1994, he released a debut rap album under the name MC Ciccone, which included numerous bitter digs at his sister. In 1999, after being without a record contact for several years, he was finally persuaded by Madonna to enter rehab to deal with his alcohol problem — which she paid for — causing him to miss her second wedding. He started a restaurant in Los Angeles, and went back into rehab again in 2003. Christopher said: ‘Marty is a very loveable guy. He has had issues with alcohol and tried his hardest to deal with them. It has been a hard road for him. He is doing well now.’ Divorced with a daughter, he lives in Los Angeles and is trying to make it as a voice-over artist. Those same people will probably love MC Ciccone, the bitter and talentless brother of megastar Madonna. His only album, 1994's Judgment Day, is possibly one of the funniest rap albums ever made, but none of the humor is intentional. Cicconecannot rap, so he speaks over the cheesy keyboard tracks with a goofy lounge lizard voice that lends no authenticity to his boasts. "MC Ciccone" is his biggest ego rant, where he makes several bold, ridiculous claims that are blatantly not true. Elsewhere, he gives his modest love advice ("Love the One You're With"), gets angry with greed ("People and Money") and gives a belated endorsement for the Gulf War ("Kickin' It"). The "highlight" of the album is when fellow "rapper" Tri-Force helps him with his anti-Madonna track "Judgment Day." Among other things, he blames his sister for his jail time and brags about being raped in prison. Another bizarre touch is that, although Tri-Force is obviously just one rapper, on the inside cover it shows three people under that name. The entire album is hilarious from beginning to end, and highly recommended for those who find humor in really bad music. Anyone looking to listen to this album for any other reason should avoid it at all costs, as this really is a terrible album.
