Atlantic City 9/15/12

Is anyone else going to this show trying to get into the Golden Triangle?

I'm going to give it a shot but I'm not even going to hold my breath cause seriously the whole golden triangle thing is a scam. Granted, I got it once and I'm super thankful but tbh, I know about 15-20 people who have been in it EVERY SINGLE show in the USA and a few people who have been in it for at least 12-15 shows in Europe and the USA.

I feel a little let down. I've tried but nothing comes through. I've literally tried in EVERY SINGLE POSSIBLE WAY. I even spoke to someone who handles GT at the Boston show!

Anyway, I'll just go back to my old Madonna-concert mentality self. Front row would b nice but you have to be rich so I'll never see it from that view again. I just wish I would've embraced it a little more or honestly that I would've experienced it with my best friend or Madonna friends (which are all in it every show so far...how? Idk, they won't tell me. Maybe they really aren't such friends but ok whatever)

Anyway, with disillusioned news, comes great news. Did you see the updated seating chart? Whoevers sitting in section 5 which would be like B5 in Yankee Stadium (which is what I have, row 14)...gets bumped up to the front section while the A sections get moved to the side of the stage! I think it has to do with the fact that it's so small. That means, technically, I'm 14th row from the tip of the trangle!

Hey, that brightens up my day!

At least you got some cock! I would enjoy it nonetheless! :rotfl:

I did. I really did. I walked out of the stall, popped some MDMA, took the last swig of my whiskey and went to see the show. I didn't hold my breath...

Well, actually...I kinda did. :lmao:

I would say they're not really your friends - having been in it twice, Icon's just been good to me - in Philly, I entered a day and a half late and still won so you never know - if I knew another way, I would let you know - and I don't even know you - I've known many of these people for about a dozen years, and trust me, they revealed that they were assholes when I first met them and all these years later, little has changed.

I know. They're acquaintances. I had a discussion with the guy who at that point was an acquaintance and I offered him the other PIT ticket cause my friend (who I got tickets with for all the shows) couldn't go. He explained to me that I was too nice to everyone and that everyone was talking about me saying I was crazy and they couldn't trust me. It sort of hurt me a little. I was like, "damn I'm so nice to everyone and passionate. I would've never even imagined that." I wouldn't steal from anyone or be friendly with them, as an agenda. I don't care if you got PIT tickets and I didn't. I'm not hating. I'm thrilled for everyone but when I got to the PIT for Philly, my excitement to be with them quickly dissipated when I realized they had no interest in spending it with me.

All along, I had imagined being in the PIT with all the people I'd met along my journeys and jumping and dancing and screaming together, showing M our true energy, which she obviously loves and wants in the PIT. On the contrary, these "fanatics" we're clinging to the bar and ignoring everyone and just taking pictures and hoping to get touched by her. It's like, "really?" dance! Sing! Show your excitement and your appreciation for getting into the PIT and yet they've been in every PIT. Whatever...

I met other fans and I'm enjoying my time with them. We have no secret agendas and I trust them as people. You can tell cause we don't use each other or ONLY contact each other when you need something. They had PIT, I didn't try to get their extras. I'm not like that. I guess that's why I'm bummed by the situation. I thought it would more of a passionate group, but I have to clear out the phonies and stick with the ones I created true friendships with. I already began that and I'm happy about it.

I also thought the PIT would be the same and in Philly there were only handfuls of people who were passionate.

Anyone can make a creative shirt and stand and watch the show like a zombie. Reciprocating the energy M is giving off back to her and her dancers is something different. It's what being in the PIT is about IMHO.

Now I have someone who can try to get me in for Atlantic City (maybe she's read my little rants here and there, or maybe she was hoping she'd see me in the PIT and hasn't) but idk, I feel like annoyed so that I don't even want to be in it cause 1) if Guy doesn't want to give m the tickets again, then maybe I shouldn't be in the PIT and 2) since the updated seating chart for AC, I might have a better seat 14th row from the stage and be able to see everything in the front of the catwalk in front of me. So, it's like ugh, wtf to do.

Why have I never heard about this gay club in AC?

Ive been saying forever they need a gay joint there and all this time there is one. Uh duh.

I read reviews that said its a str8 club disguised as a gay one to attract people. Overpriced, but fun if you don't care about that. So idk, I'm sure it'll be fun with all the fans flooding the club like last night at Yankee stadium. EVERYONE flooded Billy's bar down the block and it was like a CRAZY warehouse party! I danced like a crazy person and so did everyone else! They gave A LOT of Madonna and a few regular songs. It was pretty amazing! I met a lot of people and danced with a lot of girls. Very great way to end the night!

For the people that have won the GT contest, is there something special you did with the picture of you holding the tickets? Or did most people win by sending pictures of their Madonna tattoos?

Good question! I would like to know also!

You are not bad at all! It's such a wonderfully small venue but nonetheless, take the PIT if you get them!
