I'm sure many thought she'd be crap since her film career up to that point had been spotty, but she proved all her critics wrong with this amazing turn. The singer who was deemed a "one hit wonder" in the 80's was now playing a hugely iconic role and singing her butt off. I give her major props for taking on such a big role. She should be proud! She looked stunning, so did the film. It may not be my cup of tea, but it was entertaining and he singing in this was magnificent. Her singing and seeing her up on the big screen was worth seeing it.
