This era is about looking back at Madonna's 27 year career, accentuating the positive and celebrating her achievements. Talk about your favorite moments in her career (I'll be back later with my top 5.) List performances, photos, albums, lyrics, quotes... anything goes. Disdain over the handling of the mastering on Celebration has little to do with Madonna and nothing to do with how I feel about the highs of her career. ICONIC! But of course, there are hundreds of other photoshoots that I love, but the one above and the following are two of my most favorites: And I still think "Cherish" is probably her most SEXIST video ever: While it was a horrible plot of a film, Who's That Girl is my most favorite film she acted in. Aren't we all here because we DO LOVE HER, why else be on the board, right!?! As for me, I've love her from the first time I heard Everybody, then Holiday, THEN I saw LUCKY STAR and I was soooooo hooked! I couldn't even take it, I started researching all I could get my hands on (keep in mind this was way before the internet), I used to literally go to the library and raid all the periodical shelves and ask and look her up any way I could, believe it or not it was pretty slim pickens back then, something Pud and a few others can relate to I'm sure! Between her beauty, her voice her BODY, EVERYTHING, she is and will remain EVERYTHING, musically, culturally and everything in-between...SHE IS THE BEST! She is truly the most versatile, amazing, beautiful performer I have ever come across. She is the Queen because she reaches out to everyone in every demographic. It seems every period is different, exciting and new, no one can predict what her music, her looks will be in 1 year... All i can say is that after so many years I do trust her for the final result to be good. I don't judge by advance knowing who she's gonna work with.
