I have been cheking the news when I was half asleep, and I saw images of Haiti, and I thought it was venezuela...and now that I´m awake I have a doubt: was haiti also helped by the us government?

she doesn´t need thye money...and the eurovision contest is in israel.A lot of people are complaining about it.And it´s a tacky tv show.

madonna it´s bigger than life, too big to be loved by everybdoy and the general media. Elvis was a laughing act before he died, same with michael, I remember how a lot of gournalists thought freddy was too histrionic and over singed...once they die, they are heroes.I really prefer to have her alive, enjoying her life, than being there with the dead respected and loved artists

and the eternal doubt with all the things concerning the USA helping the rest of the world: is this really needed? is this a way of making people think that the US army has to go there to help them? is this really necesary? crap. probably it is, but USa should stay in their country and not try to play with the rest of the countries to have cheap oil

Thank God most people in Spain aren't like that.
and I really believe that not all the right winged people are like this.anyways, the only solution, is the independence: there was a project, in the 18th century, to create a country called New Fenicia, that was the basque country (complete), aragon and catalonia. I see it happening!

"let´s not talk abortion, let´s talk about spaaaaain!!!!"

so there´s a march this sunday in madrid, all the right winged political parties are supposed to go, to defend their idea of spain, their idea of democracy, their idea of everything.because if you don´t think like them or feel like them, you are not a democrat.Shit, they are talking as when everything but them in the basque country was ETA, or as the venezuelan opposition.not happy with this, and it´s not unfair for a lot of spaniards either
-
anyways, if the hard brexit is going to happen, let it happen now, and let´s see what happens. If everything goes south they still will have the opportunity to come back to the union, without all the privileges that have had until now. And if everything goes well for the UK, well, maybe we should think about another way of organizing the union. But please, do it now.

eurovision is super tacky, and this year´s is surrounded by controversy because it´s happening in israel

It is obvious that the Tory Party is extreme right wing. Anybody even slightly left of centre that I read about from the UK drums that home repeatedly. The fact the opposition in England is so moderate gives them no opposition either. You are right too about the rest of the world laughing. I only have to watch our news here and also political correspondents from the UK who all groan about Brexit and talk of the absolute mess it is.
here it´s the same, that´s why it´s interesting to read opinions that believe brexit "it´s an open world".I may be very simple, but, where are they going to sell their production? where are they going to buy something that they don´t produce as cheap as when they were in the EU, without borders? and what will happen with scotland?
the only positive thing that this brexit can have, for us remaining inside, is that people will feel more united now that one country clearly despises it (us? I really don´t know if the brexiters hate more EU´s laws or the european emigrants).
-
yes, it´s very interesting. But again, I don´t know if USA´s "help" is going to be good, or better than maduro.and Russia and china are with him...shit, again, it´s a problem to be so rich, if venezuela was poor, the problem, maduro, will still be there, but...
-
the only positive thing for us, the ones that remain the union, will be that, IMO, Brussels will have to show us that it´s better to be in than out, so they will start making laws that are going to be more human ...(I wish!) they will have to work hard to make countries see that is worth it to keep the union

Stop it with the exaggeration about brexit
will be better off in the long run and the disruptions will be minimal
i love Europe and its utopia but the U.K. does not belong, and the U.K. certainly does not need any lessons about democracy and human rights from Brussels. The U.K. is the mother of modern democracy and was always there when all these countries were having their nationalist quarrels.
No country in the world is more multicultural than the U.K.
europe is rife with far right parties. Extremism never made a mark in the U.K. unlike mainland europe
brexit is about independence, being able to do your own trade deal, it is about opening oneself to the world
meanwhile all the European countries have a far right party that gets a lot of votes, even Spain where the PP incorporated francoists
not everything is black and white
and I despise the antisemitism from so many people who are left wing
TRUE, NOT EvERYTHING IS BLACK AND WHITE.Oops, sorry, I wasn´t shouting!
No country is more multicultural than the UK: well, I agree that the UK is multicultural, but you should tell that to the ones that voted in favour of the brexit, because I think the multiculturality is not one of things that they love in their country.
is about being able to do your own trade deal: as much I don´t like EU´s last ideas economically, I must say that some of their laws have stopped the multinationals corporations to run the countries freely. I ´m afraid this will stop sooner than later, but, with an independent UK, I hope you have shares in the corporations, because they are going to fuck you hard.
extremism has never made in the UK: I totally disagree, it has made it with such a violence, that even left winged people don´t realise that a lot of times they sound super right winged to us
So many egos hurt: don´t expect europe to welcome british ones they are outside the union. the union can´t allow more countries leaving them, so they are going to, again fuck you hard.In spain, well, say goodbye to our sun and to the alcoholic olimpic games, and...(jezz, is that the only thing spain gives to the world?) we will welcome scottish and irish people!
and, the biggest problem is not even that, is that the population in england is divided. as far as I know, is not that 80% of the people want the brexit to happen, so there is a huge internal problem.

is not that we like maduro or we think he is good or something positive for venezuela...is that we have seen the same behaviour in the US government, before trump, a lot of times, with other countries around the world. And we know what has happened to them.I wonder if the situation in venezuela would have been the same, internationally speaking, if they weren´t a country filthy rich in oil.
-
now I don´t understand anything:sanchez has asked maduro to call for elections before a week.if you ask somebody to call for elections, you are suggesting that he has the legitimate power?

The EU released a wishy-washy statement supporting democracy, asking Maduro to go, saying Guaido is great... But not recognising. I guess the block is waiting for Maduro to step down. Let's see what the army does.
Jesús, I wish your people all the best.
me too!!! I have family in venezuela too, and they are some in maduro´s side, and others against him.anyways, it seems maduro is going to keep the power, isn´t he?

So? Those who are supporting Maduro also have their very transparent agendas or you think Russia, Cuba and China support him because they think he's cool?
Anyway, at this point, as a Venezuelan you don't care if the reason they are supporting Guaido is because they have interests, that's just how politics work. You appreciate the support because what he is doing IS legal. If your mother had to stand in line for hours to try to (hopefully) buy a piece of bread you would appreciate the support too and would hope today is indeed the start of a new chapter.
It's sad that, as usual, this chapter is starting with the death of at least a dozen young Venezuelans today in the hands of Maduro's forces. THAT is madness.
is it really legal? I´ve read somewhere that he declaring himself president wasn´t legal either (as a lot of things maduro has done before)
this really looks bad.I understand that is not his part of his job, but what minister Borrell said was quite sensible to me, to have elections again, and this time super clean ones. But USA trying to hel a country in central-south america...sounds risky and dangerous

when you say pro help is pro invasion?
what is happening with the red cross that they are not going to help with this humanitarian campaign, because they say it´s not an humanitarian campain?
and can USA attack venezuela, or even worse, use colombia to attack them using them, when russia and china are against it? would it be a new irak?
