Yes, I found this strange. I guess we don't hear much about Muslim issues in Russia.

Or it could be they're trying to provoke Russia to get involved with the problems in the middle East.

Either way, Russia doesn't mess about. Did you see the police cut the ear off one of the terrorists and made him eat it!?

yes!!! it was disturbing. Not that teh rest of the countries don´t do it, but they disguise it, not puttin...and there are a lot of problems with the muslims in russia, well, with the countries in their south (all those "tan countries" I guess).

  2. I don´t think it was "allowed", is not that easy to stop a thing like this from happening., Especially in a country as big as Russia. But it´s strange that the killers were ISIS.I mean, I didn´t know that Russia has problems with them (or them with russia)

Everyone I know from US is voting for Trump.

ok, I have the same feeling. Well, my cousin won´t, but that´s it. I wonder why. I mean, is it the economy? the war? what has happened internally, nationally that has made so many people go pro trump?

Israel is the worst. It should not exists in the first place.

I don´t agree with these two statements. I mean,if people wanted israel to exist, it´s ok with me, and maybe, it was a good way to solve a part of the mess that happened during the second world war.Or at least, a part of the mess. The problem is that they chose a land that already had people there. I have heard about other posibilities for the Israel state, like argentina or south africa (or in the south of africa, I don´t know). I don´t know why did they were also a posibility, I mean, people lived there already.

And about being the worst, well, we know that all the countries have a lot of shit under the bright constitutions and declaration of rights. But after being bombed for 50 years with movies about the holocaust, maybe I was expecting more from Israel, I guess.

And, I don´t know where I have taken this idea, but somebody has mentioned other countries, not western countries, were the human rights are not respected, and that if we like them more, we could go and live there. Of course is not that. Actually, I know that my life would be more different if I had to go to live to a palestinian state, than if I have to go to israel. They are, basically, europeans living in the east part of the mediterranean sea, so I know my life would be, in that sense, similar. But that doesn´t mean that I don´t see the shit that the politicians are creating there. Politicians that have been voted and elected by a lot of israel´s citizens, of course

  5. I haven´t been following this thread, and I don´t know exactly which your opinions are. Also, my english is what it is, it works to laugh about gaga, but something so serious like this...well. But I have two very clear ideas in my mind about all this situation:

israel should stop killing people right now. Yes, they have won the  battle  already, thousands of dead people ago.

Rest of the world is seeing israel as what it is, a country that kills inocent people and, thanks to his friend USA, is going to get away with it. But the stories about the concentration camps, auswitz...these people in charge of israel are not close to that people

I am starting to believe that it´s true that there is something more behind all this situation: that news about wnating to build a new/bigger canal to the east of gaza, makes sense

40 years later its still a thing??? Wow! Talk about deflection!

But everytime the argentinian people have the opportunity they talk about the Falklands! well, at least some kind of people...the song that became famous because of the world cup had a reference to them too

It depends I guess on how they relate as folk and how much they link their religion to a certain country.

I wish all of them were like Borat´s actor. I don´t know what has he said this time, but I´m sure he is going to separate his religion from the politicians

As they have been illegally occupying more and more territory for the past decades I guess nationalism and propaganda is fed every day. And terrorism serves as glue for Israel to feel threatened and follow the principles of their government. You and I know about it because we suffered terrorism. Even today in 2023 you and I have different perspectives about the terror years from Basque terrorists killing civilians at random in Spain.

of course, but I was thinking about jewish people from other countries. I mean, you can be from lisbon, paris or rome and be jewish, and don´t believe that Israel´s state is something close to you because you are pòrtuguish, french or italian...

  9. I have a doubt about the jewish society. do they have something like a pope, a person that is suppose to be a reference for a lot of them? what do non israelian jewish people think about israel policy trough the decades against palestinian people? are they protesting against what israleçs government is doing? do they follow what israel´s politicians say, or they don´t care, because they are from another country?

  10. everything is crazy.I hope it stops right now. Have you seen guy´s post about jewish people being mobed in russia? apparently after they saw an airplane arrived from tel aviv, some people started going against them. that´s so crazy... we are back in the middle ages

we have a madonna fan from Israel here, and he/she/they talked about palestinian people killing israel´s citizen´s before the big attack last week...maybe he/she/they wasn´t talking about killings? because I only see "a couple" of dead people in last 9 years...

  12. so what´s happening now? I have read something about netanyahu mentioning the atomic bomb, also Turkie being angry with israel, south korea saying that north korea is planning the same with them...I guess it´s going to be impossible to know what the hell is happening

have you heard about the artist Jorge Drexler? he is an amazing singer-composer-musician from Uruguay, and he is jewish. He has posted his thoughts about this mess, and I think I agree with everything
