Seems it all harkens back to āThe Familyā. I saw a doc about these nutsĀ on NETFLIX. It covers these Christofascist wack jobs who pervert the person who was Jesus and corporatizes his teachings as some cultish political organization to inflict these edicts onto everyone else. Murdoch is a scourge. A disease thatās spread around the world. The USA has felt the Murdoch propaganda touch with Fox. But it is Pres. Reagan who ended The Fairness Doctrine that paved the way for those like Murdoch & Sinclair Broadcasting (have stealthily beenĀ buying up local networkĀ affiliates countrywide to spread their right wing propaganda) are brainwashing people to their narrative. Iāve seen in living in what was Reagan Country, then Bush Country (twice) and now itās trumpistan and itās getting worse all the time.Ā
Murdoch employed people like Roger Ailes who reigned supreme for years, then all the sexual harassment claims struck him too and the poor man couldnāt take it. He passed a few years later, I think.Ā
Murdoch takes information and turns it into propagandized mush. It also turns some brains to mush. I know, I divorced one!
Fox news alone (along with people like Rush Limbaugh) has divided this country like nothing Iāve ever seen. It seems to get into those who have aĀ predisposition to being a Republican, staunchly conservative (the only thing they conserve is the truth) and started watching Fox Newz when it first came online inĀ 1996. I wasĀ forced to listen to it because he eventually had it on 24/7āexcept for sports and the local news.....he read the local rag (I workedĀ for the local TV station (89) & newspaper (90) and they were biased towards right wing interests even back then).
So @Jazzy JanĀ youāre spot on when you express your hatred for Murdoch.Ā I feel similar about drumpf. Iāve never called him the name of the office he occupies. I call him BLOTUS. And Murdoch helped him get electedāas well as other factors swirling around US Politics.Ā
I certainly was stunned to find out that the āLiberalsā in your country is the opposite of what I consider to be a liberal. In he US, Fox Newz has made the term āliberalā to mean something bad. Which is why we are now refereed to as āprogressiveā. Itās like in the U.K., Iām ignorant to the politics there and just try to listen and understand. USAās system of Gubment is not the most ideal. So itās not for me to understand other countriesā governmentsājust try and see the similarities and the differences. I have enough trouble understanding my own, thank you.

I donāt know if it was from a movie or doctored in some way, a young naked boy climbing down from an upper window of some Royal estate (sorry, Iām not knowledgeable on Britain's Royal Palaces and such). And that Jimmy Saville person. Wasnāt he knighted? I mean that sends up red flags right there.Ā
I think itās horrible how theyāre treating Meghan. It does ring of the way Princess Diana was treated. They do seem to gang up on their in-laws.Ā
