  1. I think it's also the fact that Facebook isn't popular with the young, use among the older demographic is likely declining too. I don't use it very often and many of my friends don't use it so much now.

He's thrown so much money at the crappy metaverse to try and be the next big thing but it looks like a children's game from the mid 2000s.

I am not sure his appointments make him be seen as a safe pair of hands? At least outside the UK all seems the same mess. Maybe inside the UK it seems or is better.

Everything is relative. Plenty want Boris back but he's still being investigated for lying and if found guilty could trigger a general election which the Tories don't want to risk. Sunak is generally regarded to have handled the COVID situation pretty well and there is literally nobody else who seems capable. I think Gove has stabbed too many people in the back.

But yes, the markets stabilised, the pound went up and things settled down when he was appointed.

That's the express though. Only old ladies read that and they're probably not happy there's an Indian doing the top job.

Sunak has stabilized the markets and is generally seen as a safe pair of hands. The Tories won't be getting rid of him as there is literally nobody left who is any better.

Just $4 million? Not enough for what he's put those families through. I don't think you can put monetary value on it but after they asked for $150 million, seems like somewhat of a slap in the face to the families.

This man calls himself a "performance artist". So, even though he knows what he says isn't true, even though he knows his supporters lap it up and will harass these families, he as recently as this week has said Sandy Hook is fake and the families are "actors". He was also at 1/6 insurrection. Really hope he gets investigated and a proper punishment. Enough of is enough of this bullshit.

No, that's not all the punishment. They're now going to work out what he owes the victims.

But on the other hand, there's a lot of people happy with their transition I guess?

It's their body and their rights to do whatever they want.

Transition is not hair cut thingy where hair will grow back after a while.

These people should've thought very carefully when making such major decision.

I believe they need to sign certain consent form and go through multiple counselling session for years before the actual operation. These medical institutions are not dumb enough to get themselves into trouble.

Of course not but the fact that this guy is going to court will be worrying for them. He must think he has a case. This also includes young people put on puberty blockers. Someone was in the paper recently saying he's now incontinent, infertile and got brittle bones (IIRC) as a result of them and said he wasn't aware of the side effects.

It only takes a few cases with large payouts to force change.

This is such a minefield of an area that I think we'll see a lot more cases in the future.

    1. The right will cling to these one-offs to say "SEE!"

    2. This reminds me of this

One-offs? That's the problem, they're not. There are more and more people coming forward saying they're regretting transitioning.

Now the lawsuits are coming which will mean medical institutions will probably not want to perform these kind of operations if it's going to expose them to costly legal action.
