  1. Guitar section = Dick Tracy section on BAT = time for the loo or a beer

That new set list looks great but very odd as Spanish Lesson is supposedly shelved. The medleys also seem suspicious like the Physical Attraction one that came out recently. And no mention of Buenos Aires.

But I would be happy if she performed this. Candy Shop makes sense to open with - after all, the song is about welcoming people. A good remix is needed though to really lift the start of the show.

  2. ooh Double Dutch. Just like it was 1984 all over again.

I don't think her dance routines have to be energetic. Just well choreographed and imaginative. The GS was striking choreography and a lot of it wasn't running around. Unfortunately, she just relies on the goons in tracksuits too much now. I can see that on any council estate. Give me some glamour. Buzby Berkeley not Bill and Ted! :dramatic:

  3. Easily its a fake and mock up of the set list from weeks ago....he just typed up a paper and made some fake notes to make it look "Authentic".......oh Smelly Perez....how GULLIBLE your readers are....

Why gullible? It is a perfectly reasonable list of songs. She often picks out random songs to sing live, like Lament, Hanky Panky, Dress You Up. She even did that awful 'Funny Song' on DWT. The themes for each set seemed reasonable enough too. :

I'm fed up of bitchy queens coming to this site and slagging off people to big themselves up. You've got no evidence to the contrary so why run others down who could actually have got something. Either join in the fun or take your sneering comments elsewhere. tongue:

  4. She only did The Girl from Ipanema in the Rio concerts of the Girlie Show as far as I know. And if she is indeed ending the tour in Brazil, which according to some threads could happen, then it would make sense. She obviously likes the song... it's a classic. Now, it would be totally awesome if she recorded the show in Rio. Out of this world!!

you think she would do something more original that Girl from Ipanema. The Brazilians must be fed up with every star rolling that one out.

  5. If youre talking RIT... Burning Up was an amazing performance (according to me and many others) and she certainly put her heart in it.

I enjoyed the fact that she sang it and it was good to sing along to but I just don't enjoy her guitar performances. I want to see her move around not just stand there like she did for Burning Up, Material Girl, Ray of Light, Secret etc on the recent tours.

I wonder which the sleeper will be that will wow us? I love it when a song that was nothing special becomes amazing after seeing it redone.

  6. oh my god is this real ???

    SETLIST.jpg

you know, I would like to see this show!

Ain't No Big Deal, Up Down Suite, Dress You Up... I'd even be happy to see a version of Jimmy Jimmy instead of bloody Music one more time.

Fantastic! And big up the Bea!

And Borderline as a song rocks, but live it was a let down on the Virgin Tour. If she treats the song with some respect and does a good performance then great but if it is just going to be like Material Girl and Burning Up and sung for the sake of it, then she should not bother!

Put some heart in to it love!

I feel like I am pissing in to the wind saying all this.

Does Jamie (the shit choreographer) King actually read these boards?

  7. I hope she doesnt throw in a random cover like the Girl from Ipanathangy..she has too many hits of her own she should be using

OH she should do the MIAMI MIX of Dont Cry for me Argentina

Remember 'The Funny Song' from the Drowned World Tour? What a waste of three minutes that was. I suppose it is her concert and she should enjoy it but misguided efforts like that should be dissuaded from the start!

  8. I love Love Profusion - I think it is very underrated as a song - it suffered when there was another backlash against the old dear.

As for her guitar playing, if she played it like Prince with some soul, I would love it. But she just stands there on the spot looking like she is trying to remember where her bloody fingers should go.

That girl done lost her soul.

  9. I would love any of the following:

    Think of Me

    Lucky Star

    Stay

    Physical Attraction

    Dress You Up

    The Look of Love

    Back In Business

    Jusitify My Love

    Erotica (normal version)

    Bad Girl

Deeper and Deeper (not the crappy RIT slow version)

    Skin

    Shanti Ashtangi

    Human Nature (club mix)

    Bedtime Story

    Love Tried To Welcome Me

    You'll See (not acoustic)

    I Want You

    Love Profusion

    Sorry

but definitely no guitar performances as they are booooooooring. But you know we are going to get one as she wants to prove she can play.

I also don't get the real passion for Open Your Heart. I suppose it wasn't a No1 in the UK. Same with Take A Bow - got to No.16 so I never think of it as a big song.

I've not actually bought a ticket. I'm looking forward to the demo versions leaking and that is about it!

  10. Back In Business from I'm Breathless would be great! A real show stopper.

Vogue in RIT was pretty souless I thought, as was much of the show. Most of her choreography is just like every MTV in rotation - Justin Timberlake ripping off Michael Jackson style moves but given the more urban theme of the new album, I expect that is what we will get. Either that or the drunken Aunty moves she was pulling promoting Hollywood and Get Together.

Just more tits in tracksuits doing some acrobatics. I want to see her dance, not just shuffle a few moves whilst she is surrounded by the rejects from High School Musical.

  11. I like the look of the setlist - some under performed classics including Physical Attraction and The Look of Love would be great. You'll See is great but the acoustic version she did wasn't much to watch. I'm also tired of Music and Hung Up. That Fedde Le Grand mix was chronic. Bad Girl would always be welcome but Rain is dull.

I think the last truly great tour was the Girlie Show although the Drowned World Tour was ok. Since then, it has all seemed a bit half arsed especially as the music is just normally the bog standard mix of old singles. At least the Confessions Tour mixed some up. Choreograpywise she just gets the same tired old street acts to wheel out their moves. Jamie King needs to go!

Trouble is M always looks at the current trends and wants to stay up with what is hip hence the lots of dull dancers. She doesn't seem to see we like her as that is what she is not!

Although I don't a full on gayfest like Kylie's Showgirl tour - that was just hideous in its 'I love the gays, me' production.
