Just $4 million? Not enough for what he's put those families through. I don't think you can put monetary value on it but after they asked for $150 million, seems like somewhat of a slap in the face to the families.

This man calls himself a "performance artist". So, even though he knows what he says isn't true, even though he knows his supporters lap it up and will harass these families, he as recently as this week has said Sandy Hook is fake and the families are "actors". He was also at 1/6 insurrection. Really hope he gets investigated and a proper punishment. Enough of is enough of this bullshit.

No, that's not all the punishment. They're now going to work out what he owes the victims.

This is interesting. Supposedly, he got to the point of being legally bound to buy it so I'm wondering if he's just going for it hoping they won't sue him for breach of contract.

    Speaking of which!

But on the other hand, there's a lot of people happy with their transition I guess?

It's their body and their rights to do whatever they want.

Transition is not hair cut thingy where hair will grow back after a while.

These people should've thought very carefully when making such major decision.

I believe they need to sign certain consent form and go through multiple counselling session for years before the actual operation. These medical institutions are not dumb enough to get themselves into trouble.

Of course not but the fact that this guy is going to court will be worrying for them. He must think he has a case. This also includes young people put on puberty blockers. Someone was in the paper recently saying he's now incontinent, infertile and got brittle bones (IIRC) as a result of them and said he wasn't aware of the side effects.

It only takes a few cases with large payouts to force change.

This is such a minefield of an area that I think we'll see a lot more cases in the future.

    1. The right will cling to these one-offs to say "SEE!"

    2. This reminds me of this

One-offs? That's the problem, they're not. There are more and more people coming forward saying they're regretting transitioning.

Now the lawsuits are coming which will mean medical institutions will probably not want to perform these kind of operations if it's going to expose them to costly legal action.

    Definitely.

Douchey tech bros have them in Seattle.

They're overpriced, overhyped and I don't think they're elegant at all. They look like a really basic car with a very plastic interior, BUT they have a big screen with "cool" apps and it can (sort of) drive itself.

They're very popular in the UK, certainly around where I live. I see them all the time now.

I wouldn't go near them. Supposedly terrible after sales service when things go wrong. The blinds also say they do more way more with your data than they say.

  6. Let's see if this blind is true:

The celebrity CEO is just blowing off steam. He realizes that he has overpaid for the bird company. The problem for him, is that his objection is financially immaterial, and he publicly complained about the issue before signing the deal. The merger agreement allows the bird company to take the celebrity CEO to court, and force him to close the deal. The only way the celebrity CEO can get out of the deal, would be if the financial books were completely fraudulent at the bird company, which they most certainly are not. Best case for the celebrity CEO is the bird company knocks a dollar or two per share off the price, to allow everyone to save face. When the celebrity CEO takes control of the company, he will slash expenses to the bone, and there will be massive layoffs
