I have just read the report made by a journalist from a Canadian newspapers who interviewed people in the South (Trumpsters but also moderate citizens) in order to see if the events of the last months would have an impact on their electoral choice. Obviously not. They're all going to vote Trump again. So it comes back again to the fact that if the Democrats do not come together and go out to vote massively (which will not happen), it is certain that Trump will be re-elected in November. It is much more depressing than the pandemic.

With his morons and the big slice of Republicans who would vote for any anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-minority candidate plus the absenteeism of stupid Democrats unable to tune in for Biden, Trump is sure to win. The only way he loses is for the Democrats to go out and vote and if the moderate Republicans abstain from voting .

I completely agree with you. It is out of the question that i'm going to spend a cent in countries where homosexual residents are victims of social stigma, incarceration or deaths. We are not talking about countries where there are traces of "good" old homophobia, but countries where it is still cultivated politically and openly encouraged.

I have not booked new dates because as long as there are no vaccines, the risks of a second wave may close the borders of countries to tourist again. It's too risky to lose money once again.

@mmmike I had a planned trip to Spain in june  (Palma, Valencia, several cities in Andalusia) and obviously everything is canceled due to the pandemic because my airline does not offer flights to Spain until further notice. Fortunately with the exception of my plane tickets, I managed to get reimbursed for all other reservations.
