Out of the 2, I'm far more excited about Avicci than Diplo.
Yes he's more "commercial" but from what I've heard by Diplo.....it's not as rythemic or anthems for my personal taste....THAT said he is experimental, and that's what madonna NEEDS, Redently she's lost that "edge".
He has never ever insulted Madonna.
He said he didn't like GMAYL.....like MOST of her even loyalist fans, thank fuck she's working with someone who doesn't like that song is all I have to say!!
The fact he's confirmed 7 songs is exciting!
But her "actual" studio time hasn't been as vast as we first thought?
That said I still think the album is set for a release this fall....with polished songs already being chosen.

I'm loving the fact the album is looking "finished" or at least with song titles being seemingly "confirmed" by Diplo and Madonna in recent days, it's getting close!
It's the Video Music Awards 30th anniversary on August 24th....there ain't NO better way to launch the new era than with a performance of the lead single!!
I know it's utter shite now BUT the exposure of a sizzling performance would rocket her back into the music scene radar!
This is were Madonna CAN still rule, particularly in the states without radio.....the timings havnt been there for her last 3albums to perform but this time round the timings could be perfect...
I really hope IF the lead single is ready to drop this September....she performs! The exposure for the new album wouldn't come any better!

Well if her last 2 albums are anything to go by she won't name the new one after a song anyways!

I highly doubt it's a movie.
There's no time for that now....with the album finishing up I can't see her sitting on it to go into any other project....
Plus there's definetly going to be a 2015 tour, I think everything she's putting out now on social media is album-related.

It's the most creative and thought provoking she's been in years!
That clip is not only lush in it's visual (she hasn't been in her visual content for years, unless on a tour) but the words were stunning aswell. The message was iconic Madonna, making a stand for freedom everywhere!
So bring it on! I'd rather an album of "revolution" than nite songs about shooting a lover in the head!
I'm so excited, we actually might be getting something along the lines of Ray of Lighy and Like a Prayer instead of Hard Candy and MDNA!

For me MATM was the FIRST time madonna "sold out".
Her lame cheesy vocal on that song is fucking terrible! The video is just as lame, it looks cheap and nasty.....no effort, Madonna just turned up on a Britney shoot and rolled around as she did the killer dance routine!
It could of been amazing.....a la Scream when Jackson and Jackson did the amazing routine in that video.....memorable, iconic and a killer!
The fact that after 20years in the biz this was Madonnas first released duet.....well it stinks!

Now I'm excited! It's a killer song title aswell....and not one that belongs to a frivolous dance album nither!
I think we are very close to official confirmation now of the first single and album.

It's a kickass album title!
Her general "mood" recently, especially in the MDNA tour has been very much Human Nature, as I think we need another "2 fingers up" at the establishment song in her discography!!
It sounds like the Diplo material will be full on and brave!
They did 7 songs together? Sounds like it's similar to Hard Candy, a game of 2 halves....Avicci having one side and Diplo the other!
I do think the album is in finishing mode....her recent "hang out" with disclosure though....maybe she is reaching out for that something extra?
I highly doubt it was just "sociable" I do think there is an album connection...
Now were hearing reports of many songs being wrapped up....I think an album this November is extreamly likly with the usual tour following next summer!

I truly believe madonna can do it on her own, that's more than obvious but since 2003, she seems to of got into a "habbit" of collaborations....an her last 2 leads HAD other people.....
Thing is, EVEN with the backing of the hirered in "cool kids" it doesn't guarantee her a hit....
GMAYL proves this, I hope Diplo convinces her to launch the album alone, it's all about the right music this time, I don't want some pop tarts stupid vocal on her new single JUST to try and earn a 1week spot on the billboard top ten.
Get over that! Thing is, what frustrates me is that Madonna doesn't NEED radio to play her to be HEARD....she STILL has TV, every show in town will book Madonna.....so if she creates enough buzz with the lead.....the downloads will follow....regardless of American radio stations!

I think Guy will be pushing for a Q4 Madonna releases this year if ONLY for the promo!
I can see something very similar to the COADF roll out....only more focussed in America.
If the album is released this year, the promo won't effect the tour prep/rehearsals, and madonna will be able to plug it in person.....so U2 release or not, I think a November album is the top of everyone's (interscope & friends) list!

She's been working on nothing but he new album all year!
Not sure yet how she will roll it out with the "freedom for art" project.
Maybe exclusive releases on the webpage?
Whatever happens, the album is coming this year....I'd be amazed if it gets put back to next year, she has been "on off" in the studio since February.

Madonna really does value Orbit, to send him material to listen to from the new album is a big deal!
I also value his opinion, and the fact he says it's good makes me think nothing big positive vibes for it!

I'm surprised her recording with Avicci was so limited. It does seen like Diplo is heading the project big time, with summitions from disclosure and avicci only.
I do think the album will drop end of this year.
I also think as will drop TWO singles ahead if it's release like they did with MDNA....
Hope she follows THAT trend, 2songs goes ge public that "bit more" to go on before considering buying it.

I do think to a certain extent now she's not under Warners anymore, she has lost some "key" music management because they had a REAL influence over her choices, including some obvious single choices.

She said in an interview that she let a rabbi choose Frozen as the lead single for Ray of Light.
But that was a stunning choice for her amazing comeback in 1998 after her 4-year album hiatus!
Such a surprise for that reinvention....
In hoping we get an equally brillient "surprise" this time round.....

I don't think it's about "time" though when you look back at her recording her other albums...
Hard candy was recorded over a full year, in my opinion the result was nowhere near the "quality" or Ray of light, which was amazing, again recoded over a full year.
But then again Like a prayer was licked up in a matter of weeks!!!
One things or sure, madonnas eye is COMPLETLY back on the music....yes she completed 11 songs, but as a deejay in sure avicci had many tunage locked up ready to use for vocals just like Mirwais and Orbit did for a Music and Ray of light!
But she's back in the studio with diplo and continued recording, plus she's hanging out with disclosure so it's sounding like she's surrounding herself with lots of inspiration!
I don't think "time" depicts a great album though.
If the songs are there.....then it doesn't take an eternity to put together.

With zero other projects planned and a lot of studio time already wrapped I think we will definetly see the new album dropping this year!
I'm hoping a new single drops aroun August\september i know the VMAs are rather lame these days BUT that would seriously set the new material up to the kind of audience she wants....
Plus it's 30th anniversary and after the iconic 20tg anniversary it would be wonderful to have the queen of the video back on THAT stage slaying the pretenders to the throne....
Just a point on disclosure, I don't think it's just pleasure her being at their gig, I think it's buisness and they will definetly feature somewhere on te new album....

The description is not describing a DJ at all....
Personally, all the clues are there it's madonna unless it's one massive coincidence!

Hmmm with the drownedmadonna statement coming in it's rather confusing!
We recorded solidly for a month then took a break....
Time enough to complete some new material (perhaps not a WHOLE album)
With the 2new magazine shoots, and the Instagram teasing which did include a mock-up single cover....with a tag "you heard it", and the rather delicious billboard clip which wasn't HEAVILY publicised....(avoiding too much press could just push the reveal early) it would seem things were hotting up for a new single!
That said, she's certainly putting herself out there more for fans now she's on social media....
But I agree the hype is ONLY on here for hardcore fans.....but a perfect way to create a "buzz" is exactly what she's doing now....
Getting friendly with DJs and whoring some instrumentals about (if it's her) to test the waters!
I can't believe it's all been for nothing?
One things for sure in MY mind, there's no way the new album will be sat "on ice" until next year....with NO other project in play, I think it will be out this year.....no more studio recording still?
I think MOST of it is actually already taken care of....

Madonna has definetly flown that dance flag!
She was VERY late with hard candy when all the "pop" divas were turning to RnB, she put out confessions on a dance floor.....she has alsp worked with many top dance names from Europe from orbit to price as now avicci.
I didn't say that's ALL she's about.
Just making a point she is far more CONFESSIONS than a HARD CANDY girl!

NOWAY is it "just" a deejay that's NOT the description Billboard gave!
I think the "lead" single released as a full on duet/collab with Aviccii is perfect for Madonna!
She's truly flown the flag for dance music more than many of the "other" females who went down the urban route.
Madonna stuck to her roots and her "sound" has always been loyally to European dance!
I'd MUCH rather this than another "lead" with a Blist pop star....that just looks desperate....
Bring it on! The clip sounds infectious so I hope and pray it's madonna.....

That is true!
I remember months before MDNA started....pre-WE, madonna put out a message on her Facebook declaring she wanted to work with the "coolest maddest craziest" people.....
Not to put on a downer on it, that said the stuff Diplo and Avicci have both done exciting things....there spot on the money at the moment just like Timerland and Timberlake were BUT it's in the genre I think Madonna best suits, anthem dance.....especially Avicci, madonnas vocal on his tunes woukd certainly set dancefloors on fire!
