Is she doing Vogue or not?
I hope so! Surly she will she is doing 2 classics after all.

She doesn’t have a good advisor
She's not stupid though I remember when she released Confessions and she played the G-A-Y for the first time ever, it was a brilliant set where she declared to the audience she made that album for us.
It certainly feels like she is making choices to be perceived as unpopular.

Considering what she chose to perform at Eurovision, I believe (for better or worse) she gives zero fucks about tailoring a performance for the audience. She will perform what she wants and everyone there will love it.
It feels like that in this era.

If this Quavo is a homophobe I doubt she could convince him to play Pride.
He was probably too high to understand the e-mail she sent him asking him to go.

Lol yes we have been in meltdown mode for 2 hours because of the "reveal".
So many better tracks to choose from.

Oh lovers now I get it!!! For the love of all that's holy Madonna !!!!

All of this, I genuinely love/enjoy every song except Future. I actually wouldn't be that mad if Future is performed as long as it's without homophobic Quavo. She can definitely do it solo if she wants.
Even her performances require a bloody feature with her these days.
It will be a seriously sad fucking day if she takes Quavo to PRIDE. She's playing 4 songs at her first and perhaps only ever appearance at a pride event and she gives a quarter of it to him.

Mensch said I Rise, Future, and two classics. She mentioned in an interview that she would probably do Vogue at Pride. So that leaves one song. Probs Like a Prayer.
This thread has been so fast I missed that info !!
Now I understand the frustration.
Out of all Madame Xs great songs she is performing those 2? They are hardly among the albums best. That's disappointing.
But she had that week long workshop earlier this month.....obviously mainly for the tour then.

Ideal setlist:
01. Like a Prayer
02. Vogue
03. Future
04. I Don’t Search I Find
Only 4 songs? Feels light I'd love Like a Prayer and Vogue but I don't think we will get both and Vogue surly is a cert it's a gay anthem after all.
I was thinking at least 6 songs and 45 minutes in stage with a speech half way through ?

Ohh so was it confirmed that she's performing?
If yes, great, because she really needs to present the album to the GP
No it's just a Q&A

Ohh but this one it's only one interview, she won't be performing any song there
Ohh indeed she is !

I dont think she cares a bout performing in live shows/awards anymore.
Dont know why she was even booked on this if ishes not willing to at least make it a promo tour show.
She obviously still cares she went to the Billboard Awards.
I think it's to early to write it off yet she has never ever played PRIDE this is a significant moment in time she knows she is the biggest living gay icon and this the first time she has ever embraced PRIDE/perform at the event so I can't imagine for a second they'll be no effort going into it.

I'm worried!!
I know she has her reasons for doing what she does but she's sitting on a goldmine of AMAZING new material that would thrill the audience....and that's without even factoring in the classics!
Perhaps this will be a more upbeat version of Future with a bit brighter performance than we saw previously.....I'm not as worried about I Rise cuz it's pretty fitting and expected. I just thought the other MX track would be GC.
Surely she will play GC the video is an obvious tribute to the Pulse nightclub massacre.
-
She did an unusually average performance at the Eurovision and people are loosing their shit.
She will slay she's not a changed performer who doesn't know how to appeal anymore for God sakes.
This is a woman who knows exactly how to command her audience and she will do it again in a fortnight at PRIDE.
-
PRIDE bagging M after years of trying is singnificant enough for a small but incredible set.
I couldn't imagine her doing a 2 hour set anyways that's far too long as much as we all want it.
I doubt she will play Future, I doubt she will take Quavo but I trust her with what ever she is planning.
For me, God Control is a cert it looks like the video will be a direct tribute/wake up call to the Pulse shooting so it makes sense to call it out at Pride.
-
THIS WILL BE TRULY EPIC.
-
But if she performed God Control on a TV show now that would command some serious attention.

Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here but I've never known it to be televised in the past.
Hopefully her team will film a nice official vid for YouTube though!
Oh God I hope they film it otherwise did it really happen !!

Will PRIDE be televised ??????

It's difficult to rank but I'll put it simply.
MDNA is the weakest album of her last 4 and Madame X is the strongest.
Madonna @ NYC pride - CONFIRMED !

Okay.
It is bizarre she's choosing AL. Hopefully she will be doing something interesting with it as oppose to the album version.
