The problem with her is that her new songs are not smashing hard on that area (probably the too old for younger fans / too modern for older fans theory is right somewhat) and she (thankfully) doesn't have that one song casual fans go to the way they do with other artists so while the overall numbers are solid, individual songs don't have the bragging rights of having hundreds and hundreds of million plays.

If that was her focus I don't think she'd be making videos for songs like Batuka or Dark Ballet.

It's been said that originally the Graham Norton thing at the theater was meant to be a TV special with performances (even the signs outside the event alluded to this) but somehow it was cancelled and they had to put her last minute with the Yesterday cast, sir Ian McGandalf and Sheryl Crow to have something -anything!- in the way of UK TV promotion.
