I gather the difference in the albums (2-4) is also minimal. The Spice Girls have 7 singles in the top 200 so people are obviously buying the odd track that brings back memories rather than an entire GH package.

Just 0.5% of the total viewing audience for The Kylie Show actually bought "2 Hearts".
there's a singer in Spain called Rosa, she won Pop Idol here, she's so beloved, she was part of Dancing With the Stars and won again, averybody loves her... but so few people buys her albums!
I have a feeling that's what is going to happen to Kylie the older she gets. -

I bought the cd 1, cd 2 and vinyl from Hollywood in London. And of course i went to different shops, so they were counted as one sell each. And surely mr. Johnnoxx and sir Queenbitch do the same.

when it comes down to basics, the Kylie song just isn;t that good and only appeals to her fan base. Casual buyers just dont like it. Its a bad choice for a comeback single. or should that be a 'brave' choice for a comeback single?
I thought that it was more loved by casual buyers than fan base. The fan base is a bit angry and the majority of it don't like the song. I thought it was being to be liked by the casual buyers. Am I wrong?

Umbrella was a massive hit ALL AROUND THE WORLD, not just the UK. It fully deserved its success too. It's an incredibly catchy, strong track.
The Leona song is a real grower, and hardly surprising it's such a hit given the exposure.

I have a feeling that this decade is bringing such mediocre music that when a good song comes, it's like having a manah from heaven.And about the number ones... Well, let's wait and see. I have a feeling she will be number one with the album. And I have a feeling that the physical singles are going to sell very good.
By the way, people from UK, do you think that your charts are a bit weird nowadays? I am shocked at songs like Umbrella or this Leona one selling so much and being such hits. They are not that good.

Kylie not having a number one with 2 Hearts is simply a FLOP with capital letters. It there was a time that she was going to be number one for sure was wit this come back.
Of course, i like 2 Hearts, but if she had released In My Arms things would have been quite different.

I just read an interview with Westlife, who were so sure of being number one with the single, even ahead Spice Girls. They said that they sold more than "Forever" and were more important (stupid thing to say, being Forever the least sold album from Spice Girls). I was like "ugh" reading the interview. They really should be shot.
By the way, that Timbaland is selling a lot in UK!
