Not loons, but public in general. People in general expected another album musically that would put the charts on fire. Of course, then some haters here, well, a certain hater called Queenbitch, would have said that she's playing the cancer card, hahaahha. At least, she is NOT trying that.

As for Kylie, i hope she stays, although this time of the year all the sales are on the weekend, i guess.

If the album plummets, all the alarms will shout at EMI!!!!!!!! And many fans will throw themselves to a fire shouting like crazy, hahahaha.

It *is* a respectable result. All I'm saying is that it's time to push the album further by exposting a new track to people. I'm not saying she should release "In My Arms" at 6:50 tonight. I'm just saying that she should perform it. It makes perfect sense. Whether or not you care to admit it. "2 Hearts" has NOT been a big smash, so why waste any more time on it?
I have admited that 2 Hearts have been a relative flop, but i think they are wise to promote it till January. She has already presented the whole album in a tv special and you are right that it could be a good idea to present new songs, but only if she can sing the single too. 2 Hearts is not damaging Kylie's career at all, in my opinion. And sometimes things work different in terms of public, because if they keep the second single until the end of Christmas, people will be thristy of something more Kylies-que. I guess the market is very saturated right now, with the promo from the album,the KYlie show, the docu on tv...

Yes, but that's her career and that's why she shouldn't be worried if she sold "only" 82.000 copies, neither should EMI.

She has sold 82.000 copies. I think that's pretty enough for only a week. If sales decreased dramatically, they could change things, but there's nothing clear. I don't think that people who were turned off from 2 Hearts haven't bought the album, because it's one of her best weeks ever. Only Fever sold more.

I think that a song that is at top 10 after 3 weeks shouldn't be ditched so soon. There's plenty of time to listen to In My Arms. And if everybody who wante the song has already bought it, it would have plummeted sooner.

Although 2 Hearts is going nowhere among her fanbase, it has appealing for casual buyers and that's why it's still at top 10. It's not crazy to perform it on tv. Of course, on January 1st. the new single should be sent to radiostations, there's no use to wait until february!

Yes, 82.000 are pretty good! Well, of course it's a relative flop compared to what we expected a couple of months ago, but after the bad reviews and the cold reaction to 2 Hearts, I expected far less. I hope people keep on buying!!!!

Queenie, that's not true. Every pop artist has those loon fans who buy multiple copies, Madonna included. Blaming the results of being in the top 10 to multiple copies could be translated to other artists.

I doubt it, every country has its own Pop Idol or X Factor singer releasing albums and many ballads on radio station in Christmas. I stil think that Leona is a typical marketing phenomenom from Christmas.

So that's not even 100k in two weeks. Not quite the essential pop GH package a la TIC and Abba Gold they were anticipating then.
Their fans are claiming it will fly off the shelves in January due to the concernts.
I wonder if the concerts are trully soldout? How can the dates be soldout in 5 minutes and later the single and album struggle to make a top 10????

What's that fever that some people are having with Leona? The ballad isn't original at all, is a generic ballad, pretty enough to be in a Julia Roberts movie.

If half of the albums were released in 2006, now i understand why i have only bought Tori's, Alicia's and Kylie's albums this year. Really, music sucks big time.
