  1. you don´t like the album???

I don't like half of it. That only happened to me with Music, but at least Music had one of her best first off singles ever!

the songs i like from HC i like them a lot, though.

  2. No backslash would start by not touring in Australia.

In fact, i expect that it would start by releasing her worst first single ever, stupid videos, silly lyrics and half album with fillers. thanks God this woman is like phoenix and is able to release good music when nobody expects.

  3. Then, with all this airplay and future itunes sales... i wonder why isn't it sure that she will be higher than the number 7 that Hung Up got only with sales. Are 4M itunes sales going to be lower? If there is more exposure and more people like the song, then they have to be bigger, because only megafans bought Hung Up in USA: radio stations didn't play it.

  4. Spin and Italy never stop to amaze me in how much they love her

Madonna is the queen in Spain and will always be. She's in every radiostation: oldies, new songs... And she loves it because she was Spanish in another life (or at least she said that in 1990, i wonder if she still thinks the same now :chuckle:)

  5. Of course she will be number one, because on the week when the physical single is released, she will have loads of physical sales (they make artist like Kylie or Madonna go on top 10 even if they release a fart, simply because fans collect the 3 items) plus the digital sales that week.

  6. Well, if she doesn't get the success she's expecting, then this will be a strange situation. Maybe it will be better, because she will forget USA for good and will record good songs for the rest of the world. Anyway, it's better to wait. The song has a strange catchiness on it, i don't like it a lot, but the chorus is in my head lots of times!

  7. Wow is still in top 10! I expected a flop single and look! It's pretty clear i won't be clairvoyant.

I don't know that Duffy girl, i will check YouTub right now!

EDIT: oh, coincidence,i watched the video yesterday in a music channel and thought "oh, i wish Madonna had recorded this song, it's powerful and "black" at the same time.

  8. What he said was that LAP sold less than True Blue, but he considers it a more important album than True Blue. REGARDLESS OF SALES. In a similar way, Rhythm of Love sold less than Kylie's albums before it, but it has become the jewel of that period. REGARDLESS OF SALES. There was no comparison between Rhythm of Love and Like A Prayer, no saying that LAP flopped, etc. He really couldn't have been ANY MORE CLEAR.

    THANK YOU! :D

Next time i will use even more verbs and long sentences so my point of view is not missed. Get ready for a 3 paragraph thread only to say good morning.

  9. So now you're comparing Like A Prayer to Let's Get To It. Like A Prayer wasn't as big a commerical hit as True Blue, but make NO mistake, it was a HUGE hit album and a gigantic leap forward in terms of Madonna's artistry.

Someone please call an ambulance for Karbatal quickly! He has finally FLIPPED.

:manson: I don't like it when people twist my words. I was talking about Rhythm of Love and write an example so you could understand my point of view. I would never compare both albums and you have twisted my words so you can win the argument. Go, and win it. It's truly yours.

  10. Like Prayer sold much less than True Blue in USA and i consider it her most important album. I hope this sentences enlightens what i want to say. An album that delivers an image who people can recognize and singles that 18 years later people still know and remember, it's a success.

  11. My original post pointed out that most of her albums do not sell well. You then claimed that the entire SAW era was a success, when clearly only half of it was successful.

Newspaper articles and the opinions of European grandparents do NOT make an album successful.

They do. If you have singles that are number ones across the countries, it doesn't matter if you sell a lot or not. Britney, for example, didn't sell that much with In The Zone, but she delivered Toxic and that's one of her most important moments. Would somebody say that her time ended with "Britney 3"? Of course NOT. Sales are relative if you have bombastic singles. And Rythm of Love delivered Better The Devil You KNow, Step Back in Time, What Do I have to Do and Shocked, that are classics, they are her most important singles. Plus it created the Kylie image. It's her most important album, much more than Fever or the first one.
