I was at the Vatican just last week with some friends prior to Easter and our guide told us that she was hopeful that he would make some sort of a recovery but the situation was pretty dicey . I didn't know it ( his death ) was going to happen so quickly . Was told an American donor paid for the restoration of one of the ceilings and the amount of arts that had been donated to the Vatican is massive .
