  1. It's just that vaccine hesitancy hardly justifies itself in dissenters who'll throw themselves headlong into gobbling up alternatives that are even bigger question marks, much more untried. Shocking, yes. It's hard to rebel against the increased pessimism. We try...

If I had, it would've been about the latest Hazell Dean release on Energise Records. But I can take a hint. *ceases all ankle-to-cankle operations* *does surgery on entire personality instead*

  3. https://www.npr.org/sections/coronavirus-live-updates/2021/09/04/1034217306/ivermectin-overdose-exposure-cases-poison-control-centers I was just reading this article about people self-medicating with ivermectin. There have also been a bunch of stories about stores that deal in animal feed and care supplies only selling it to longtime customers known to pasture animals. People are insane. Imagine denouncing vaccines but jumping at this.
  4. Because President Xi personifies virility itself. Piglet, come and collect your friend.
  5. The title's question ("Would you pay...") would've been answered with a HARD PASS on the first page, whereas Jessica keeps us hemming and hawing. Many members could still be talked around to aiming for the Alves look.
  6. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/52580373-all-the-young-men Feel compelled to read her book now. Member reviews are never so unanimously admiring.
  7. These people's jumbo-sized senses of performance and audience mixed with a hefty portion of overall ridiculousness and their shared absence of credibility make this easy to laugh away, but you do have to wonder if it'll gain ground at some point as something worthy of any serious consideration. If we lived in an egalitarian world, I suppose it'd be neither here nor there if certain girlies wanted to nonchalantly play Musical Races of an afternoon.
  8. Oh, doubtlessly. Seems like they just weren't willing to give up their piece of the pie for long enough to have repairs made. @karbatal, the damage involved concrete: slabs, beams, walls, columns - all structural. I'm still aghast, can't remember seeing anything quite like it, but it's gotta be the explanation: https://www.tampabay.com/news/florida/2021/06/27/before-florida-condo-collapse-9-million-in-repairs-were-needed/
  9. Holding out hope. The property managers may have a lot to answer for; reportage has it that consultants observed significant damage three years ago. Can't imagine every condo owner and tenant was made aware...
  10. I've just read that Ms. Jess has gone and had a gastric sleeve surgery for weight loss. Maybe she doesn't believe in EXERCISE. As, um, Rubenesque as she could appear, I wouldn't have had her down as an eligible candidate (still too thin), but it seems there's always a doctor.
  11. Also, somebody said she looks like Agnetha from ABBA and I almost SLAPPED him in the face.
  12. Her fundraising haul was illuminating earlier this year. Over three million. She's obviously a taco short of a combo meal, but it arguably makes her more dangerous because of the destruction that could lie in her wake. I hope she'll have to pay the piper for the Gaetz association, if nothing else.
  13. Not to jump the gun, but from this thread I surmise that fantastic diva @horn should be back in 2036?
  14. Always so pleased with themselves. Much as the unscrupulous media entities are to blame, the burden of incompetence extends to these guys. How is it possible to be incapable of exercising any kind of critical observation and evaluation prowess whatsoever? And when will they get over it?!
  15. God I don't blame you. Haunted by it and on edge for days. I hope she's had comfort.
  16. Who's read about the 73-year-old woman with dementia who had her shoulder dislocated and her wrist fractured during an arrest by these thugs? The clips are grisly and heartbreaking, but it's important that we heed reminders of how the profession often appeals to subsets of the population that absolutely do delight in the pain that the authority they're afforded enables them to inflict. This is pure inhumanity. VILE. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KElPwmwP8co https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2wJZEmHcEg&t=1s I'd lay into that punk for how he handled her. And the smugness that emanates from the pair of them, obviously thinking they're tough because they drew the blood of an elderly lady. What also beggars belief is to see them back at headquarters later on, patting themselves on the back and chuckling at "hear the pop?" as though it were some amusing quip. Sick fucks.
  17. I mean, I think she bears more than a passing resemblance to some princesses.
  18. An abomination. I'm devastated by stories with malefactors who are young and stupid and horrible but possibly not irredeemable. In time, even they won't be able to fathom it, most likely. Just senseless and tragic.
  19. So demented but so oblivious to the fact and in reality smug about it. It's at the stage where you feel bad for their eventual fellow inmates.
  20. She was really coded incorrectly, hey? Either that or she helped herself to everything under the sink.
  21. I'm not quite the polyglot she is, but do we merely observing Trans-lation 101 detect a whiff of "MARK YOUR CALENDARS, BOYS" to a lot of that? Good for her.
  22. German Shepherds. One of theirs is a former shelter dog as well.
  23. Forget prayers - I think some bait would be more effective? JESS, we've got Crisp 'n' Dry, Band-Aids, a J. Lo-shaped dartboard, and plenty of silicone products. Come back!
  24. Not the brightest bulb. But now that she feels emboldened I'm sure the self-incriminating depravity will be firing on all cylinders soon enough. I hope she feels invincible and promptly ruins herself.
  25. I can delete my second post as well if you like? Just say the word.
