Shane Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 One of the best album closers anyone has ever come up with. A personal favorite of mine. I love so much the lyrics, the melody of the chorus, her vocals, and the crazy breakdown at the end. Feel free to share the love!
spotlight Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 everything off of AL is stellar but ER is so beautiful
Icykiller Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Madonna does the most amazing album closers, doesn´t she? And this one´s perfection, definitely! Love Easy Ride!!
Shane Posted January 15, 2015 Author Posted January 15, 2015 Madonna does the most amazing album closers, doesn´t she? And this one´s perfection, definitely! Love Easy Ride!! Best album closers in the business, YES! And best bridges.
Shane Posted January 15, 2015 Author Posted January 15, 2015 I LIVE for Stringsdonna. OMG so do I. So much.
5iVe Elements Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 My favourite closer of hers!!! 5-minute of heaven.
Plaything Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Easy Ride is effortlessly GORGEOUS. I have said it a thousand times already but the last minute of the song ranks as some of the best pieces of music in Madonna's entire discography!
Moka Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 This song is perfection! So deep... What I want is to live foreverNot defined by time and space :inlove:
Shane Posted January 29, 2015 Author Posted January 29, 2015 I listened to this last night. You know how you can be listening to a song for the billionth time, but you have a transforming experience with it? I heard it like never before. This is the sound of a true artist. Singing so fucking beautifully. Investing every single lyric with the utmost passion. The strings! The breakdown at the end! One of her most brilliant songs, and I feel that even even more so today. ain't nobody who closes an album like Our Madge.
rb19 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Easy Ride is so stunning but it's not one you can whip out to non-M fans, I worry they wouldn't get it. It's a proper deep cut, an album track that fans adore. My favourite thing about it is how it so magnificently pulls together the three musical styles on AL, the strings, the guitar, and the stuttering electronica, and then pulls it all together for the close. It is her most sublime album closer, and the best at actually finishing the album.

Soma Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Easy Ride and Gone are the most perfect album closers. ER is everything AL is about. The sound (the strings!!), lyrics and her singing - everything just is so full of raw emotions. And the breakdown is just heaven.
ITG Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Brilliant & beautiful! One of the best closers definitely.
Michael. Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 One of my favorite tracks. Love the beat. Always wanted her to mix it with "Manipulated Living" from Donnie Darko (Which was mixed into the opening of S&S) for a tour performance.
Flip The Switch Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 12:51 this is your favorite right? I remember this One of her finest songs. Perfect closer.
Guest Hunterlas Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) I could write forever about this one... I mean... Come on... STUNNING. One of the best Madonna's songs E V E R Edited February 2, 2015 by Hunterlas
Diversity83 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I heard an amazing remix of it when I worked at a club. I've been searching for it for years now.
nick00 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 ^ Tracy Young did an awesome remix of ER which is on her album Dance Culture. It might be the remix you are talking about because at the time it was played in clubs.
Guest Hunterlas Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 ^ the Tracy Young remix is f*cking SICK!
Drowned World Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I play it a lot. One of the best songs on American Life.
Diversity83 Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 It's not the Tracy Young remix. I wish I could find the remix but I probably never will. I'm pretty sure it was an original remix by one of the djs that worked there
