I think a full on orchestra would take away the subtlety of the track. The way they portrayed it live on tour shows how versatile the song really is. However, I always wondered if she offered M Rihanna's Diamonds... Not that I love the song, but it is an interesting sound and was a big hit. Definitely not "Titanium", as that had already been a smash worldwide when Sia tweeted that she'd been asked to submit demos to Guy Oseary for Madonna's next album. In any case, Sia was asked to submit her own work, rather than work that she had written with other writers. There's a video floating around of Sia demonstrating how she came up with "Diamonds" (she was sent the backing track and then wrote the lyrics and melody over the top of that - sound familiar to anyone?!). Again, since she co-wrote the track (rather than write it by herself), it's unlikely that she would have submitted it to Guy for Madonna's consideration.
