Guest Topaz
yes, great show! Not my favorite that Ive seen but definitely great. And as far as the crowd goes it was a dud! I was sitting in front of some people who wanted to sit through the whole show and actually started yelling for me to "sit down bitch" becuz they couldnt see!! Are you serious? Who goes to Madonna to sit through the whole show?!?! I mean, even Madonna herself noticed how lame the crowd was. All I know is I paid my money and I was going to enjoy myself and if they want to sit and look at my back, thats their choice! I see you weren't the only one who was yelled at. Some bitch behind me yelled at me to sit down at the beginning of the show and I politely turned around and told her to fuck off. You're right. I've been to several Madonna shows (in DC, New York and Philly) but this was the absolute worst crowd. Most of my section (105) sat down for several songs and it was a complete downer. I could tell Madonna was irritated by some of the comments she made about the audience - like calling the audience "weird". I don't think I'll ever see another Madonna show at Atlantic City. I will continue to see her in NY where the audience seems more in tune, exciting (and excited), and more appreciative that she's still performing after all these years. Yeah, it was absolutely unbelieveable to me. Not only do people want to sit but they expect everyone else to sit as well! They kept saying "we cant see" and Im like, "well then stand up" And then they just started being incredibly ignorant and making comments about me the entire show. Like I was going to sit down after that!! Such idiots! Hope you enjoyed the show tho, I know I did!
SexPistol
Atlantic City has a reputation for being lame at concerts for all artists. Actually, most casinos do. You get a lot of tourists who treat concerts like a tourist attraction and aren't big fans of the artist. Did the same thing happen in Vegas? I think that crowd was at least a little better, no? Guest MelissaM4
EVERYBODY! OMG. I was there last night and I had no idea how many people were just totally not into it until I watched this video. I saw her in Philly the last 2 tours, I better stick with that! She was making light of it but I think she was genuinely disappointed in this crowd.
Guest boytoyville
^ OMG what a sad audience lol. I'm sure it consisted of many people who aren't huge Madonna loons since it's a casino and all but still. I loved all the old ladies and bald guys in the audience. LOL. Definitly not a place I would prefer to see her at, but it sounds like many still had fun and she's going to get a massive gross from this show and really that it all that matters. Guest boytoyville
I had to share that someone from ICON posted an e-mail their friend sent them after they went to the AC concert and somone seating next to them actually had an OXYGEN TANK with them and had the nasel tubes up their nose and all the whole time! They also said that there was a mother and daughter couple of 62 & 85 that was there and needless to say they sat the whole time lol. DAMN the AC crowd is dire, lol! At least the old people are getting a chance to enjoy her before they die I guess.
Nightshade
She only plays this shitty casino because the profit return is HUGE compared to other venues of the same capacity. On TCT, she grossed almost the same amount at Atlantic City as she did at TWO dates in Hartford, CT.

Camacho
Sticky & Sweet Tour: 'We suck. I suck, and you suck!' madonnalicious reader Randy got to sing-along with Madonna at the Atlantic City show on Saturday night, here is his story: "I got to sing along with Madonna Saturday night when she took a request song....'Everybody' in this case. Both Madonna and I screwed up the lyrics. She said something like 'We suck. I suck, and you suck (pointing at me)!'. Check it out on YouTube. It's pretty funny. It was so fabulous. Madonna said that I suck!"

I see you listed seeing Madonna in DC? Which shows did you see here? I live in DC myself. And since we've fallen off her tour schedule of late, i've had to trek to various locations to see her. rafter69
why do i always meet new Madonna fans (and fellow freaks) AFTER her tours have passed?!?!?! I live in Laurel, probably not too far from you. what shows did you recently go to alone? i'll send you a PM with my email. Its nice to meet you and welcome to the board. A lot of new people showing up lately. Its really nice have a good friend who lives in Mexico and he's actually flown here to DC to see her with me before. so i never feel too crazy when i go a great distance cause i know he's gone further than i have! i've never actually left the country to see Madonna! LOL He is super excited cause she's about to start her Mexican shows and its her first time there since 1993 so its a HUGE deal there. I was in Mexico in early May when her tour was announced and it was front page news....FRONT PAGE, not the entertainment section...but front page of the entire paper...i thought at first that she had died while i was on vacation there, but my friend read the story and said "no she's just coming here on her tour' and i said something like 'man, i thought she died or something' and he goes "no, that wouldnt have been as big news as her coming here to perform again! LOL" so anyway, he is flying to Mexico city to see her this weekend. I had wanted to go but i already spent a fortune on this tour and it took a while for her to confirm the Mexico City shows. Camacho
Sticky & Sweet Tour: Shadow puppets in Atlantic City! Fans at the Atlantic City show earlier this week noticed that Madonna was making shadow hand puppets just before the request song. madonnalicious reader Doug managed to capture this moment on film. "I've noticed on some of the M message boards that fans have been buzzing about the shadow hand puppets Madonna did just before the 'Everybody' request song in Atlantic City. I have video of that and didn't upload it initially because I didn't think people would care. But after seeing the buzzing on the boards, I've uploaded it to Youtube for all to see."
