Yeah the tour itinerary needs 2 change..The US-leg is prolly the most profitable but
there's really no excuse 4 playing only a handfull of countries in Europe..& Fuck the
10plus London gigs as well..
-

What do they say about Hung Up?
most succesful download track of 2005...
-
HEC..that review is from the LA show..
-
The reviews r great..most even metion how stunning the crucifix performance is..
Okay, so I translated some parts
Tagesspiegel:
An image of self-glorification that’s as obscene as it is fantastic. Much was made of religious minders protesting against Madonna’s mock crucifixion. Cologne’s Public Prosecutor checked out the show but the singer was not arrested. Instead she was being
cheered on by 45.000 spectators, while she, blonde locks adorned by a beautiful crown of thorns, descended the crucifix. If there was ever a pop star – and to use the words of John Lennon – more popular than Jesus, it’s Madonna.
Hamburger Morgen Post:
45.000 people roar, Holy Mother of God, she’s there: Madonna, High Priestess of pop and Unabashed master of self-creation. 48 years of age and the megastar has lost nothing of her initial ‘spark’.
Is her breaking taboos part of some artistic concept or just oil for the pr-machine?
You’re left to decide yourself. But the fact is: It works!
Love her or hate her, you just can’t ignore her.
The pop icon’s role of agent provocateur is visibly her favourite. But, for a show filled
with political references she leaves her audience little room for contemplation. The frenetic
pace of this fantastic show leaves you breathless. Perfect staging: 70’s vibe or 80’s nostalgia…Chameleon Madonna shows us everything.
Süddeutsche Zeitung:
The woman who created herself and the greatest
entertainer in the world today. We are about to witness, the best, the biggest, most expensive and spectacular show in the world. But the biggest revelation is that a mega production of this scale
is capable of moving an audience. Amidst all the chaos: Madonna. The epicenter.
Stuttgarter Zeitung is moaning about her band being 'invisible', overstaged numbers,
2 many dancers degrading a show 2 a revue act that puts Madonna & the music
in second place...akward 'preaching' in a show that's supposed 2 b about disco blah bla bla..

Ganz geil!
'So, if I know 'Muschi' and I know 'Schwanz' and I know 'danke schön'..what more do I need to know..?'
-Madonna, Bavaria 1990.

acko do you spot yourself in there?

okay I'm still very tired after the hectic week I had
& I don't really have anything coherent 2 say but...
I *heart* Italy
- And I bet M does 2 ‘cuz the little women bring suitcases 2 use as a platforms
during stadium gigs
-Golddiggers at the the venue try 2 steal 10 euros from u, posing as parking attendants in public spaces .My friend & I cornered her, took her picture, & threatened 2 kill her if anything happened 2 the little fiat we drove there..seriously it felt like home..
-We got there around 17.00h, we just had 2 queue leading up2 the entrance & managed 2 get just outside the golden circle, on the left-hand side (facing stage) the stage..without pushing, shoving etc...
-Even though the crowd wasn’t as loud as u’d expect..
the atmosphere was brilliant, people were quit humourous throughout..taking the piss out of Madonna quoting her shitty Italian lines from the WTG tour..held up banners in response 2 the pseudo crucifixion controversy reading ‘SANTA SUBITO’, which got a massive applause
from the fans…I never felt such electricity.. and it translated to the stage..Cuz the bitch went full-out..
Wembley felt like a run through show in comparison...
-So Madonna seemed 2 consider this a special night..she was very happy, trying her best not
2 smile too much during 'Future Lovers'…She introduced 'Sorry' saying she had Italian blood,
And 'Italians don’t negotiate'..the biggest sing-a-long of the night..
She went nuts during the ILNY outro, banging her Guitar with Stuart Price & Donna laughing their heads off, cheering her on..ROL, the place went nuts..Even Isaac did a great job, he got
Applause during Paradise..people tried 2 sing Crazy For U..but, Madonna started talking b4
It got a change 2 catch on…instead, there were the ‘7 nation army’ chants ‘ooh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-ooh..'
-La Isla Bonita = …Madonna’s Come On Italy! didn’t help..
as the song got a rather weak response..what else..She added
That's the way aha-aha I like it during 'Hung Up'..
Okay I dunno what 2 say..had an amazing time..
There's really no other place (okay, maybe Paris & Spain) 2 c M than in Italy..
Btw, Oakenfold is P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C…seriously I have no respect 4 DJ’s.

Rome was off the hook..just got home...need 2 sleep..
