  1. Yes but even "Drowned World" was just based on the song/book title.

Her only 'clever' tour title was Blond Ambition. That was her best period with word play and stuff. Immaculate Collection included.

yeah but it was loosely based on that Ballard (?) novel & it went with a concept.

'Confessions' was like 'okay now my dancers will confess something..'

    Now THIS is innovative

Or check out Kayne West's Stage amazing Design

    Kayne Stage Design

Why can't Madonna do stuff like this? Because she is working with hacks.

That looks like a set made 4 TV..very Eurovision...& The George Michael stage was the only thing

I didn't like bout his show specially during the ballads..if u were close like me it was just 'pixel' :fag:

Just cuz they go over the top in design doesn't mean it's innovative.

I like how Madonna's shit is eye candy + functional design still maintaining the integrity of a classic concert stage.

It goes with her Rock 'n Roll heart. :fag: She understands that lighting is just as important as not lighting..just look at how she utilises darkness 4 dramatic appeal. Now go read a Peter Morse interview u dumb fucks. :fag:

  3. Yes, cause a square screen hanging down from the ceiling with an over sized disco ball image on it isn't.

no, Madonna's stuff is tight, sparse & restricted. & Ultimately Kylie's stage ain't all that

different it's mainly screens & lighting, depending on what segment of the show, that provides the stage look.

But Kylie needs it brighter cuz she has 2 sing Copacabana :chuckle:

  4. That setlist seems like a variation of the one posted by a MFanzine member the other week. MadonnaTribe denied "Holiday", "Everybody", "Dress You Up" and "Secret", they were never included or rehearsed according to them. They also said that the songs did not change since their last setlist spoiler, except of course "Impressive Instant" / "Like A Prayer".

This one has 5 segments, that was never mentioned before either, plus why would she exchange "Into The Groove" and "Human Nature" anyway?

Well nobody knows what is %100 accurate. & it's not like Tribe is in a position 2 confirm anything.

They get whatever info they get from their 'source'..& that source might not know everything. :fag:

    So let's pretend it's real...cuz It's good :D

  6. Drowned Madonna's reader Afonso asked Live Nation about the Sticky & Sweet Tour DVD.

Here is what they told him:

"The Sticky & Sweet Tour DVD will be recording in Madison Square Garden, New York City.

    October, 11 and October 12."

    Source: Drowned Madonna

I'll be there if true!

pity bout the stadium gigs if true..but i'm glad it's NYC

  7. I must say I'm a bit alarmed by the lack of leaks from rehearsals. The tour is less than a month away. We already knew lots of things about RIT and CT at this point.. like the rifle stuff; the skateboarder; Missy Elliott etc. etc.

Apart from the Britney video and rumoured setlists we have nothing so far.

    on DM's board people r hinting @ aug 1st. 4 info.. .

  8. ^Si, si.

II would be high energy for the final section, but too left field of an inclusion (even for Madge!) Then again, we're talking about the woman who tossed DW/SFL and Paradise next to each other (in place of more classic singles) on the last tour.

For the 90s- if the setlist remains as rumored, we have these "classics":

    yeah but DW/SFL wasn't that odd a choice..some album tracks r classics 2..

Especially if they're part of a landmark album like ROL.

  9. Just looked on tribe and didnt see this part. Link?

    The webmaster on the forum...

anyway..they could b full of shit..

New Niki 4 one does not have a typical soul-mama voice,

well, from what I've heard at least.

So, I don't c her doing it Alpha Niki/Siedah style. :fag:

  10. So, no word on whether "Borderline" is still part of the set? I'm waiting to make my decision, but it may not be until after the start of the tour.

LAP on BAT was a dance version, so no harm there, really.

Hmm..but this one implies another mash up of sorts..

  11. More awful rumours from Tribe:

LAP is indeed going to replace a song, unfortunately, but not one of the classics. It will be a dance version, sort of like the Madhouse cover, but better of course (it will be done like Music Fedde Le Grand, on the base of another song). And of course the lovely Nicky Richard will sing the Niki Harris bit.
