  1. I think it would be great. Maybe not for the next tour, but some time in the future. But I would not want it to be all acoustic and ballads. I would still want to hear some uptempo stuff but with a band, and not dancers. It would also be great if she could change the setlist slightly from date to date. I would like some lesser known obscure songs, but I'd want some better known ones too. I wouldn't want a whole concert of B sides like Kylie, but a mix of the best of her songs, whether they were hits or lesser known ones.

When i talk about a more intimate tour with a band, i'm not saying it's all ballads or anything...no reason for that :D

  2. I don't want this to be the rule...but wouldn't you kill for a more intimate tour?

Just arenas or smaller spaces, no dancers...just Madonna, band, a real concert, real live instruments, her real voice.

Maybe not even a huge tour...just like 40 or 50 shows before her new era starts?

I would LOVE this! She would be able to perform more songs and could change her setlist way more often, etc...lots of surprises. God imagine the possibilities! :D

    Thoughts on this?

  3. - The Next Best Thing made me a Madonna fan (because of American Pie playing in the credits...and then i explored all her discography back in 2004)

    - Didn't saw her movies except The Next Best Thing, Swept Away, Dick Tracy and Die Another Day (not because of Madonna). Yeah, never saw Evita.

    - I also wouldn't wear a Madonna Tshirt in public.

    - Never listened to Can't Stop from Who's That Girl (album).

    - Only listened to You Can Dance (album) once and never again. Can't even remember how Spotlight sounds like!

    - Only have one physical single...and it's Sorry.

    - Never saw the recordings for The Virgin Tour or Who's That Girl Tour.

    - I think Rainbow High and More are her top vocal performances (followed by Ray Of Light).

    - I think The Re-Invention Tour is terribly underrated, and it was the last tour she cared about the music first and the visuals after. It was also all about her...after that, the dancers started to have more and more spotlight and i don't really care about them. (the first section alone it was all about Madonna...from that entrance to Frozen).

    - 90's Madonna >>>>>> 00's Madonna >>>>>> 80's Madonna

    - Like A Virgin, Everybody, Who's That Girl are shit songs.

    - Her worst video is True Blue.

    - Her worst album is Like A Virgin.

    - I think 80's Madonna is terribly overrated, and i hate how her stans try to talk about that Madonna as everything she did back then was sacred and perfect, and how it's "cool" to criticize everything she does now...but they still go and see her live, and buy her stuff only to criticize her more later.

    - The Confessions Tour = Perfection and her best tour; Sticky & Sweet was the perfect balance between hits and new songs; Blond Ambition Tour has some of the worst Madonna moments on tour EVER (and some of the best also...but that's not embarrassing to say).

    - Only started appreciating Drowned World Tour this year (shame on me! LOL)

    - Never saw her Sex book...never had one in my hands, or a digital copy of it.

  4. It is unfortunate that they turned LAP into Karaoke Night at the old dog n whistle, but oh well.

The thing is...she DID that sing-a-long every concert or most of them anyway...maybe not that much fans singing but still...that was the goal with that song i guess xD

  5. wow! she looks great there!!

I never understand why she insists on having those curls! Makes her look older!

Her hair is great during the 1st section and than only on the last section, when the curls aren't so noticeable! (also from Vogue to Love Spent)

Reminds me of Blond Ambition Tour...i prefer Madonna with curls near the end of the show, when her curls are much more loose (i think you get what i'm trying to say xD)

  6. I haven't been able to find any footage of Madonna wearing that jacket on stage during "Turn Up the Radio". I can definitely exclude the shows you mention..

Btw, in Barcelona, Coimbra and Berlin she did a puff for the last section:

That's exactly how she was in Portugal! Thanks :D

And she had a very funny hair malfunction during Turn Up The Radio ahah!

  7. It is me or the Vogue version on the DVD sounds more powerful than the live version? I mean, it has more bass, more sounds. Sounds like she changed instrumental things...

    Sounds the same to me.

The woman didn't even bother to remove the swords sound from the super bowl for her tour...she wouldn't add anything for the DVD i guess xD ahah

  8. RIT was the last tour that Madonna cared more about the music than the visuals...the last one where her voice was the main instrument and the rest came after that.

If was back when she had like half the dancers she has now xD

The opening alone was all about Madonna...not choirs or discoballs or thrones...

And i'm just gonna leave it like this cause no one will agree with me xD

  9. Guys the 5,3 giga IS NOT out of sync or pixelated. You just have to play it in a player that can handle this size. Windows Media Player cannot.

I use KMPlayer and is just perfect. Better than DVD thats for sure. And the sound is amazing too.

Mine is not out of sync but it's pixelated...with VLC and DivX...i'll keep trying with all players xD LOL
