  1. Don't get it twisted. Madonna was pushed for her opinion on something and gave a fair point of view. Lady Gga is crying at home due to flop after flop and lack of attention. So, people in her 'cabinet' are filtering her feelings of jealousy and rejection through their own lives.

    Precisely

Flop after flop, exactly. After barely 3 years and her supposed self-proclaimed definitive record for the 21st century. Never mind it features 13-year-old karaoke music on it. Besides Madonna overall said that Joanne is talented but since she was pressured on it she gave that comment in regard to that song specifically. Big deal. Next you know "Madonna disses Gaga"

I like it that during her 3 years absence her name has been a constant presence on Gaga's lips.

    Not the other way around.

  2. myMDNA has learned some exclusive information regarding the promotion for MDNA. The queen will do a serious press tour the last week in March and will be visiting talk shows all over New York. She is currently in talks to do a performance outside the today show which will lead up to her big promo show the night after the album is released. They are apparently still trying to negotiate venue details as we speak, but rest assured this will be no ordinary promo show as Madonna is pulling out all the stops to make MDNA the biggest selling record of her career!.

Idk if it's credible but it sounds possible and I'd love to happen so I can see her again. Her promo tours are always so much fun. :)

She would need to sell 30m copies to achieve that and given the current times I really doubt it . . .

But she can sure score the biggest-selling record of the year :vogue:

  3. Little Monsters Pray at Midnight for Madonna Super Bowl Disaster

At midnight, please join Little Monsters all across the world to pray for a Madonna Super Bowl disaster. We aren't praying for death or anything like that, but for things like the following:

    • Madonna twists her ankle on stage
    • Madonna gets booed off stage
    • Madonna has a stroke on stage (but doesn't die)
    • The stage falls on Madonna
    • She leaks on stage (like all senior citizens do)
    • She has a wardrobe malfuncion
    • She cries

    Paws up!

    *********************

    :rotfl:

Sometimes when I read these things I wonder if they really do come from her fans or if it's made up because no one could be so stupid. Even a Caca fan.

  4. Steven Tyler of Aerosmith talks about Madonna...

"American Idol" judge and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler thinks Madonna's got it covered when it comes to Sunday's Super Bowl halftime show.

"If I were Madonna, I think she would be rehearsing for the last month about it, 'cause she's smart," Steven told Access Hollywood on Thursday night as he promoted "CMT Crossroads: Steven Tyler & Carrie Underwood Live from the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam," which airs Saturday evening.

"I love that woman," he continued of Madonna. "She really gets the big picture."

Steven is a Super Bowl halftime show veteran, having previously performedin 2001 with Aerosmith at the big game, and he expects things to go better for the "Give Me All Your Luvin'" singer, than they did for his band.

  5. Not to make this about JANET because today is all about Madonna but I just find it funny, the Janet fans on Twitter and forums talking about how "Nobody will even care about Madonna's performance" and that "Janet's will always be superior"

    :lmao:

What can u do. Let them believe their own crap. Janet was never anywhere near Madonna's level of stardom. Not in the 80's. Not in the 90's. And people know she hasn't had a career alltogether for the past 10 years ... No international Beatle-esque scenes for Janetta ever. And her cultural and social contribution to the world is less than zero.

Anyway Super M.A.D.O.N.N.A Bowl on the way :confessions:

  6. http://www.madonnarama.com/posts-en/2012/02/04/martin-solveig-i-ended-up-working-together-on-six-tracks-with-madonna/

Martin Solveig: I ended up working together on six tracks with Madonna

For the promotion of Madonna’s new single “Give me all your Luvin’” from her forthcoming album MDNA, producer Martin Solveig gave an interview to French newspaper Le Parisien.

Here is the full interview, translated by Madonnarama…

How did it all start with Madonna?

MARTIN SOLVEIG – When my single was certified gold in the US, her manager called me. He said “Madonna is doing a record and she would like to work with you. Could you send us some music? At first, I thought it was a joke. Then things got a little overwhelming. It’s sort of a dream to work with Madonna when you’re a musician.

Tell us about meeting her for the first time…

MARTIN SOLVEIG – We first spoke on the phone. She told me she loved “Hello” and “Boys and Girls”,a song I did for a Jean Paul Gaultier fashion show. She told me “It sounds different from anything we hear today.” Then, things went quite easy. We were supposed to work on one or two tracks, but we ended up working together on six tracks “Turn-up The radio”, “I Don’t Give a”, “I Fucked up”, “Beautiful Killer” and “B-Day Song”….

What about her latest single “Give me All Your Luvin’”…

MARTIN SOLVEIG – Everything went so fast with that one. We were working in a recording studio in London. She listened to the music. She grabbed the microphone and said “ok let’s record it now”. We actually kept elements from that very first recording in the actual song. It’s all about dance, joyful, and being positive. It’s a ball of energy. The song is based on a sort of twist rythm. Then, her manager and I thought about including M.I.A. and Madonna thought about Nicki Minaj, because she adores her. Both are featured more than once in the album. [First revealed by Madonnarama.com last November : HERE]

The single even leaked on the Internet…

MARTIN SOLVEIG – It was terrible, even though it was just a demo. From what I hear, it all came from a hacker who hacked Madonna’s computer. She’s harrassed all the time, it’s crazy. The FBI even woke me up, one day, and scanned my computers to check if the leak was coming from me. The computer I use to produce tracks is now locked in a vault and I couldn’t even go home with the single. I have to buy it !

    Is working with Madonna easy?

MARTIN SOLVEIG – She’s very down to earth. You easily forget she’s an icon and it all turns into a very collaborative process between two artists. She drinks a lot of weird tea with honey and lemon. She made me try it, but I didn’t like it. I’m more of a coffee person. She’s got a great sense of humor and is very tongue-in-cheek. She called me dozens of different names from “professeur” to “the tyran” because i asked her to re-record vocals too many times, and also “Roman Polansky” because she thinks him and I look alike. We worked for three months between London and New York. We’re still texting each other a lot exchanging ideas. Madonna has always been the most French-oriented american artists. Her kids speak French better than I do. Lola is incredible. The way she speaks French is amazing. Madonna’s so into French movies, 70′s films, new wave. She knows Bunuel, Godart, Truffaut. Take the song, “Beautiful Killer”, it’s an homage to Melville’s movie “Le Samouraï.” She sings “You’re a beautiful Killer but you’ll never be Alain Delon.”

Did you make a lot of money out of this collaboration ?

MARTIN SOLVEIG – Nothing for now. But we’re sharing all revenues from the songs we recorded together. I think it’s very generous of her. In the end I’ll be probably making a lot of money out of it. But the experience is so crazy that I didn’t even think about the financial aspects, yet.

    I love this thanks

  7. Is this confirmed? I would DIE to see more than 85 shows!!

No it's not. I wrote "those unconfimed lists". According to one of them there are already 100 dates just for 2012.

There was talk of an extension to 2013 for a South-American leg and a North American or European second leg. So it

could very well get to 120.

Monday or Tuesday I guess we'll know better. And dates get added after the first announcement anyway so.

  8. i think LIVE NATION is really out to MILK the MADONNA TOURING MACHINE... this will surely go $500-$600M

I think more than that definitely

She's playing more dates on this tour. Possibly around 120 (S&S had 85) if we are to look at some of those unconfirmed lists. You can already see ticket prices are higher for the stadium dates in Paris and Milan, compared to 2008-2009. S&S average gross figure per date was $4.8m. I think she's going to rise to a $7m per date average judging by ticket costs.

    You do the math.

  9. Who cares about how many views the video gets on You Tube. She's not Caca who needs to boast about her zillion facebook likes and gazillion you tube and twitter subscriptions. She doesn't fit that mold and she doesn't need it. She's not some B list name returning after 4 years. Everyone on the planet young or *old* knows who she is.

The important thing is that her first two singles and the album do decently and that she breaks another record in the touring department. The rest is nothing.

  10. Allaboutmadonna

Victor Cruz and co. can expect an all-star playlist from Madonna today — the Material Girl’s halftime set will include some of her greatest hits, sources told The Post.

Madge will kick off the show with “Vogue” before showcasing her new dance song “Give Me All Your Luvin’” — the first single from her upcoming album, MDNA. The third song is believed to be a mash-up of “Holiday” and “Ray of Light.” Cee Lo Green and a church choir will join her to wrap up the set with “Like A Prayer.”

  11. How can GA be the cheapest price category? I figured that'd be one of the best ones to go for?

If it's an arena with numbered seats on the floor it obviously gets more expensive but in the case of stadiums or open air venues when you are actually standing up, however close to the stage you are, those tickets couldn't (obviously) be the most expensive ones.

Prato A and Prato B is like Pitch A and Pitch B (which is what she did for Milan in 2009 - Pitch A was €92 then). It would be the same differentiation as you would get in a place like Hyde Park, only they call it Golden Circle. In a stadium there are also numbered seats and close to the pitch so obviously they're going to be in the priciest category.

  12. And now, for the first time on a Madonna website here are the details of the casting call for the Madonna Tour 2012 that will happen next week in Paris! The production is looking for two type of female dancers. A professional dancer that should at least 18 years old, with Arab or Latin traits with a good technical level and creativity. The girl should know hip hop, modern dance, free style and have great flexibility and capable of doing her own thing. She must be available to start working from February 13th! The production is also looking for a professional Flameco female dancer, with mediteranean traits who is also capable of doing hip hop and free style. The audition will take place in Paris on February 9th! This definitely means that middle easter and latin themes will be present in Madonna's new tour! We really can't wait, and you?!

After the Superbowl she's heading to Europe for promotion. Drownedmadonna has already said that she's scheduled to make it to Denmark next week.
