  1. As we previously stated, the MDNA show opens with the Religious Chants intro/backdrop, sung by Kalakan. They are then joined by Madonna for her Act of Contrition right before the Girl Gone Wild number.

Also, a new track that has been added to the setlist is Masterpiece and the trio will be adding some vocals giving the song a very unique feel.

Unlike the album version, it features more violins and we heard Masterpiece could replace Falling Free in the final setlist.

We also can share another information related to what William Orbit tweeted about a week ago… “was just checking out some archive multitrack sessions. Listening to Madonna’s vocals on ‘Cyber Raga’. Wow!”

    This isn’t just a coincidence!

Madonna will be performing I’m a Sinner and Cyber Raga mashed up together in one song featuring the Kalakan trio, who are giving it a whole new dimension!

Another song that will feature Kalakan is none other than Like a Prayer!

The trio will be singing the choir part of the song.

Last but not least, Kalakan is also joining Madonna on Celebration, that is currently considered as the closing number for the show.

  2. Since everyone's posting the setlist. Here's one I found. It sounds likes it might be true, but I'm not sure. It has to have Falling Free or Take a Bow because they showed pictures of Hahn Bin the violinist.

    6) Girl Gone Wild Part Two

    Video/Dance Interlude: Nobody Knows Me

    7) Open Your Heart (New version)

    8) Give It 2 Me (with elements of Music and Vogue)

    9) Express Yourself (with elements of She's Not Me)

  3. :manson: I'm not worked up about it, I just think her music deserves a little more of a spotlight outside her concerts - not because I want or care about her album selling, but because I think it makes for better, more anticipating and exciting (not to mention successful) concert tours. Which is what I said in that post you quoted. You misunderstand me. I know she works hard. I just think they rush into the tours too soon and the fans lose out on a lot of stuff. And I'm not talking about Regis & Kelly or Oprah or whatever. I'm talking about at least 3 proper singles and videos and at least treating the album like something substantial instead of treating it with as much enthusiasm as a PERFUME.

I agree with Impressive. It's obvious she works her ass off and she has prioritized SB and the Tour first and foremost to fit with her family duties too (after all she did spend an awful lot of time on the W.E. project just before that). The tour starts right when school finishes and gets back to the NY area when it starts again after the summer.

But I get what you mean with the perfume remark too  It's nice when her music is heard and talked about, especially when the album is good as in MDNA's case. The good thing on the other hand is that when May the 31st comes you just know we're absolutely not going to get a poorly-assed, poorly-lit cardbaord show.

  4. But why are there so many weird prices?

Because it depends on the amount of money the ticket-holder re-selling their ticket asks for it and on top of that you must add the percentage Viagogo gets (part of which goes into Madonna's pockets essentially). This is just another aspect of the business.

When I was searching for my ticket you could get GC tickets for Hyde Park ranging from around £200 to £3000 which is absurd if you consider that the product you might end up buying is exactly the same: a Golden Circle standing ticket. I found it odd though that you can't get an Early Access GC ticket being re-sold there. Maybe coz people who got hold of them are the hardcore fans who bought them for themselves and not with the intention of re-selling them at an inflated price.

  5. I've bought my London Hyde Park ticket from Viagogo.

Viagogo is the official secondary partner. There's a deal between Madonna, Live Nation and Viagogo. Many national and international A-list acts are using Viagogo to market their tickets. Obviously the artists get a slice of the pie at the end of it all. Fans who want to re-sell their tickets at a higher than face-value price can and fans who didn't get the chance to buy the ticket from the first sale are able to get one. It's a common route these days in the touring industry to restrain the practice of scalping and to basically allow artists and their managements to get a further cut of the action. I bought mine for £180 and I am sure the experience is going to be worth every penny

Madonna Hires ‘Decoy Clones’ for MDNA Tour

    by: Amy Sciarretto

    Madge.jpg

Multiple Madonnas? That’d be a dream come true for her legion of fans. But alas, there is only one Material Girl and in order to protect her privacy, she is employing lookalikes. Madge has reportedly hired a smattering of decoys and clones so as to confuse paparazzi and keep them at bay while she embarks on her ‘MDNA’ world tour next month.

The National Enquirer (thanks NME!) reports that Madonna is not interested in having the pap’s flashbulbs going off in her face, In effort to throw them off the scent — which likely smells like her new fragrance, Truth or Dare — she’s hired five decoys to keep photographers away from the real thing.

“It was her own idea and she conceived it both for protection and to stay private while enjoying down time,” an insider told the tab about Madge’s decision. “Five ladies will be made up to look like dead ringers.”

But the doppelgangers won’t just look like the singer. Madonna is apparently giving them lessons on how to walk, talk and act like her. So these will be Madge clones. It’s serious business for the singer if she is going to all this trouble.

Madonna lands another Number One album worldwide as MDNA enters atop the Chart in Canada selling 32,000 units. Her previous album ranked from the 17,000 copies of the Celebration collection and the 18,000 units of American Life to the higher numbers of Music (50,300), Hard Candy (58,000) and Ray of Light (59,900) and the record 74,000 copies sold by Confessions on a Dance Floor.

MDNA also debuts at Number 1 in the charts of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Both the Slovak and the Czech Album charts have been mashed together this year by the IFPI branch of both countries, so there is one official chart but they still count the positions as separate countries. On the singles charts, they still have separate top 100 singles for each country.

In Croatia, MDNA debuts on the Top of both the foreign artists and the overall albums chart.

In Brazil MDNA has been certified both Gold and Platinum by the Associaçao Brasileira dos Produtores de Discos.

The new album enters at Number 2 in the Swiss Albums Chart behind local act Züri West - but outselling both Unheiling and Silbermond - two very strong competitors in the country.

In Argentina the Deluxe Edition of MDNA is on top of the chart after entering at #5 last week while the Standard edition debuts at #5 this week.

In Spain Madonna enters the Official Spanish Chart at Number 1... yet another #1 for MDNA - and a Gold certification for sales of 20,000 copies.

MDNA is also Number 1 in the Mexican unofficial Mix-Up chart, a good sign towards the Official album chart to be released later this week.
