Its nonsense her team or M don't care about the charts anymore.....I'm sure Madame X have superior songs to Medellin &a Crave but they were picked for a reason.

Because Medellin and Crave happen to be sounding single-worthy out of the four so far... and judging by the Dark Ballet preview at Eurovision, that's another definite album track... The reason why I made the conclusion they don't care about charts anymore is they have utter disregard for Billboard's chart cutoffs , no radio deals even for the first single (we know she'll get played if there's a radio deal), even the pre-order stuff for her album, which they did for RH too (most MADONNA fans would immediately pre-order the album not realizing that purchase will not count for the songs to chart, they haven't learned from that from RH. while it is understandable they want to promote the album, then why not schedule the pre-order option for the album after the rollout of chosen singles, say a week or two before release date? Fans will pre-order it regardless, at least the fans' purchase of the songs got counted for the charts)... those are just some of my observations why i say they don't care about charts anymore...

At that time nobody expected a great live voice from her but a good show and she delivered.

And the Eurovision is exactly that, a great spectacle with an intended message and she delivered. The intended message got lost in this too much focus on her voice by even some of her "fans". Please, we've all known MADONNA since the 80s, she's hit or miss in the vocal department especially in live shows, and even in some of her concerts... it's the MARIAH's the WHITNEYs, the ADELEs, the AGUILERAs and the bunch that gets vocal focus on performances... Why all of a sudden nitpicking on her voice?

  3. It's quite disappointing how some "fans" here reacted to the Eurovision performance. Some even criticised the LAP arrangement, which was the same at the MET Gala a year ago, as if they've never heard of it already. The pitchy vocals? 1998 VMAs? Higherrrrrr at VH1? They are "fans" since when? MADONNA may not be like Adele vocally live, but as "fans" I'm surprised their tolerance is quite low.

The Dark Ballet was barely there to even complain about. They can't appreciate broadway-like theatrics, which could be a preview of the Madame X tour. Some "fans" say the crowd wasn't into it. Oh puhlease, the crowd was roaring, and most are busy holding phones video recording. I don't have any problem with her Eurovision performance. I'm glad she did a widely viewed show and delivered her message.

It was posted on the director's vimeo account. It's very common for people in audio visual company's to upload it to vimeo and share a link, but then have it password protected. This was not password protected! DrownedMadonna did not LEAK the video, the link to vimeo was all over the internet well before they reported it. GET OFF DrownedMadonna's back! It's a tired argument at this point.... the link was shared by ALL Madonna fan websites...

Yeah, why do some posters here still pick on Drownedmadonna? It's been online for so many years helping with some info that we crave about Madonna from day to day. Of course it can't be right all the time, even Madonna's own website barely get it right. It only contains info where they will earn something off it. Anyways, i was lucky enough to have seen it earlier...  hope it gets officially released by Friday...

Anyone else obsessed with her hair pulled back?! Mixed with the eye patch and hoop earrings...STUNNER.

ME! I secretly wished she wore her hair in the Billboard performance like in her rehearsals... like the Candy Shop hair in the RHT tour... much love for that

That really surprises me. I was sure that it will be a smash in latin countries.

Whatever, I enjoy every second of the Madame X era.

Yeah, I feel I am past that already...  as long as I am enjoying the new music and MADONNA keeps serving current sounds like Crave, they can shove their streams, radio plays, and chart placings up their ass... and MADONNA keeps selling out her concerts... that's really where the success is...

I don’t understand how there is 176 songs selling ahead of Madonna?? That is staggering, even with age, radio etc etc it’s still freaking Madonna, top 50 yes but 177 what is up with that, are there possibly two or three sales between each placing, I don’t get it. Particularly when it’s so huge on YouTube, in the news, just doesn’t make sense. Something doesn’t add up I just find that implausible.

Most MADONNA fans just pre-order the album and wait for the songs, and those purchases will NOT count for the song to chart, unlike before...

  8. Have you read the W magazine writeup comparing Madonna and Taylor Swift videos? It favored Madonna and made a good reason why Medellin wouldn't be as viral as ME!

Madonna's fans are extremely loyal (her tour ticket sales are still notoriously strong, and we likely won't see her camp out in Vegas for some time), but they aren't the type to put a YouTube video on repeat for hours at a time to inflate views, nor try to get people to download the song on Twitter with fake Starbucks promotions. They're mostly adults. They have jobs. That's how they afford those concert tickets.
