Not sure if I did this prior, but as of right now...
1. G-d Control
2. Looking for Mercy
3. Come Alive
4. Extreme Occident
5. Dark Ballet
"Faz Grosstoso" would be near the bottom, of the 15-track ranking, along with "Bitch (I'm Loca)."

I'm using Firefox and it worked fine.

^Yes, but just figured GC would precede IDSIF, given the video already existed and such.
-
Maybe they put off an official release of GC because of the recent nonsense?
-
Not that I expect a reply, but I tweeted to him asking why he's blasting Madonna when the true fault lies with her collaborator, mentioning that I know her name brings a lot of attention, and that the song, from start to finish, is excellent.Hope others have done the same, in various outlets.
-
The Sticky & Sweet Tour DVD included all those samples, so surely that would have cost more than using the whole LDLHA performance for the RH Tour? Especially as M recorded LDLHA and used the music from her own recording.
-
Yes, Barbie- an easy way to get more attention to the matter, by trashing M in his main post.
-
^Nothing about an official release to the clubs as of yet.

^Thanks for posting.
It sounds like a Mirawis problem. So if Mirawis did that, that indeed is not right.
Again, though- why so negative toward Madonna in the one post?
OK- I've looked at the Instagram stories. It sounds like a Mirawis problem. So if Mirawis did that, that indeed is not right.OK- I've looked at the Instagram stories. It sounds like a Mirawis problem. So if Mirawis did that, that indeed is not right. -
As a songwriter, wouldn't you want your name attached, first and foremost? I know "deals" are worked out sometimes, but that's rubbish to me. Why is he singling Madonna out in his one post and not Mirawis? He supposedly was working on it for Mirawis' album, from what I read.
Plus, is M responsible for his financial situation in Berlin?
-
What's this to-do with Casey Spooner? He's saying he co-wrote the song and has received no compensation. See his Instagram. He also thinks he should get paid a royalty from the live shows. Say who? He also posted a demo- not saying I don't believe him, but doing so months after the release... anyone could record such a thing and then post it.

Turned into? It's been that for decades upon decades. The first instance it gave M major notice in the major categories? After Evita, and she was a mother, behaving (for the most part) in a proper manner. Not that ROL wasn't worthy of the notice- it's one of her most acclaimed works- but going by what the Grammys nominated through its history, she certainly should have had nominations in Album of the Year and Record of the Year prior, among other nominations she should have had.
-
The Shammys usually nominated/awarded safe chart-toppers, though, especially in the main categories. They're looking at younger acts now, though it's still about safe, non-risky selections.
In any event, MX continues to shine her light, audibly and visually.
And, nice cover indeed.
-
Still a top track from the album for me. However she sounds, no doubt it's intentional- look at the other MX tracks. For this one, it's almost like a "This is me, deal with it" way she's singing, particularly the verses (except for the peace/see parts, which is a different vocal approach).
-
Would have been nice for the vinyl, at least, to have credits and lyrics, given all that empty space on the sleeves.
-
All she said when someone shouted FG at Sunday's show was "I'm a Faz Gostoso." I think that was about it.
-
Still one of my favorites.
-
Not sure when it took effect, but... the only bundle now available via her store is the Madame X Album Cover T, which comes with the CD and digital album. It also looks like some shirts that weren't available previously as standalone items are now available as such?
-
Indeed. Loved the Madonnathons on MTV. The times have a-changed.
-
Just a note, @VogueMusic- regular U.S. MTV did not play her videos for 24 hours and such leading up to the Medellin video. It was MTV Classic,as you mentioned, and another MTV channel- but not regular MTV.
Good to see some ecognition for the "Batuka" and 'Dark Ballet" clips.

Didn't want to bring the Eurovision thread higher, but I was reading how fan recordings didn't sound as "off"/bad as what was heard in the actual broadcast. Truth or fiction?
Hope that's specific enough.
-
Not sure if anyone mentioned it specifically outside of the '90s house) ,but I get "Gypsy Woman" vibes in spots with Gold's mix.
-
^If fans are not enjoying the era because of the lack of commercial success, they may as well tune out Madonna and any music she has planned from here on out, cause that aspect isn't going to improve much, if at all.
I adore MX as a whole, but I haven't been listening to it as much as when it was first released. Part of that is so I don't overdo it going into the Sept. 12 show.
(A note- the 900k from that global list was for pure-album sales, and didn't include equivalent album units.)

^As previously noted, "Higher Love" moved 3-1 on the Aug. 24 chart. So you think HL will be a rare multiple-week No. 1?

Glad she included the song on the MX tour. So good.
